Apparently we in for Obbi Oulare, just have a look at him on u tube, I like him a lot, see what you guys think.

The Villianator

{Ed002's Note - Brugge's Obbi Oulare has been watched in the first team and reserves by a number of English clubs in recent months according to a director of the club. Stoke, Manchester United, Spurs, Aston Villa, Norwich and Crystal Palace were all cited as having him watched. But apparently it was Dortmund who opened discussions with Brugge over the player - who recognise they could lose him this summer. Brugge are looking for another club or two to become interested in order to push up the price. His agent has been keen to advertise clubs having him watched in recent months and has noted a couple of French sides (Nice and Rennes) also showing an interest.}

Hi guys, iam buzzing from all the activity and hope we really remove the doom cloud above OUR villa park.

Anyways I've copy and pasted a few stats about the lad Veretout.
72 - The 22-year-old fashioned an impressive 72 key passes for Nantes last term, making him the club's most creative player. The same tally would have made him the most innovative player at Villa Park, with Fabian Delph his closest competitor (36).

60 - The Frenchman completed 60% of his attempted dribbles throughout the season, averaging 1.2 take ons per appearance; the second highest total at Nantes.

80 - Veretout averaged an 80% pass completion rate last term, which is marginally superior to the squad average at Villa Park (79%).

7 - With seven goals to his name, the 22-year-old finished the season as Nantes' top goalscorer, while he found the back of the net on more occasions than everyone but Christian Benteke (13) at Villa.

738 - Veretout recorded more assists (6) and made more forward passes (738) than any Nantes player last season. No player at Villa Park managed as many assists, with Leandro Bacuna finishing the campaign closest (5).

{Ed001's Note - where did you get the stats from? So we can give them the credit they are due.}

Hi dudes, been visiting this site for a while now and do find some of the dialogue very direct and passionate, so I registered up to join with banter.

Anyway, I don't know if any of you have noticed the absolute media bias towards Villa?

And bookies are already taking bets on us going down. I get the fact that the last four years was painful to watch for a lot of us and amusing for for the footballing world but the British Sports Media batter us with negativity and scorn.

I just hope the money from CB is spent wisely. UTV

Your absolutely hit the nail on the head there AndyVilla, the bias and ignorance from most commentators is unbelievable

They have been beating the anti villa drum for years now so hopefully the Villa can shut a few of them up and the whole Darmian putting Richards off is BS the fact is we don't feed into the narrative Sly and most try to pendle.

Well I can't say I'm upset EA is not be brought in, he seems to believe his own hype and as for Aaron, I'll have him twice before EA.

He took a knock in the Swindon game a few weeks ago, hopefully he'll be fit for the start of the season.

It seems abit strange this v1ll4n, BR has come out and said he knows nothing about Benteke transfer to Liverstool or he's just stone walling.

Defo VillaRich, Sinclair has scored more goals for us in less showings so your right he is worth a pun in place of Gabby, who is beginning to annoy me with his lack of skill displays.

I think half the BBC pundits haven't got a clue of what they speak, a five minute research will tell you all you need to know.

Research alludes most of these so call pundits.

Paul I understand what your saying but to put into prospective QPR bought player with PL experience and they got relegated.

Do get me wrong but the PL is the riches league in the world but when it comes to being the best it isn't, proof of that is in the Champions league, where English teams seem to struggle getting to the last 8.

The players that TS has bought in a well picked. I've watched the French league over the years and I can tell you for sure all the players we got from France are really good players. They are smart and strong on the ball, to many times over the last few seasons we've been caught out for being predictable and lacked the quality to unlock teams.

Iam really looking forward to the season now.

Dude to some we are already down, football in this country really reflects society in a whole.
It's geared for those at the top sponsored by the FA and Sky.
