Isn't it strange how all the players who under Bruce we thought were our weak links, Taylor, Whelan ect, are now some of our better players, weird how with a bit of coaching their back to their best.

Chris I agree, whelan especially seem rejuvenated, playing like he’s mid 20s . As you say it’s amazing what a good coach can get out of players .
On another point, did you see Axel, at the end of the game, all the loan players also seem to have been sold the Villa dream by Deano . The dressing room must be a completely different place now . People have asked on here, what JT brings to the party . You can bet, that he plays a big part in the dressing room, making sure it’s not the toxic pit it once was

Great call about the new coaching bringing the best out of good but wayward players. Not to dwell too much in the past, however change was definitely needed and many on here have been vindicated. Without the fans having there voices heard change may have been delayed. I read today that some posters have been staying away because of some of the antic's on here, this is an open forum with everyone entitled to their opinion, yes extreme at times however still valid.

The problem was that it wasn't opinions any more. Some of us were trying to give constructive opinions on where we thought things were going wrong and were basically confronted with "shut up, you're an idiot, I don't like Steve Bruce" (paraphrasing obviously) .
At the end of the day we are now playing well and there's not a huge amount to comment on. Lack of TV coverage means those of us unable to make games can't have much input either as the EFL highlights we get are dire.
Fingers crossed that whenever we eventually hit the next rough patch (by the time we're back in the Prem) that the fans and players especially keep working with the right attitude.
