Just been reading a piece by Jon Obi Makel which is very interesting.
He makes the statement that at Chelsea JT was the one that was prepared to throw cups and kick the tables when all was not right.
Now that is a leader and that was what we had last season.
Question, why is JT sitting quietly on the bench and not having a rant at the players?
Question. Is all well between Deano and JT?
Question. Is JT keeping out of the way just getting experiance rather than interfering with the players incase Deano gets upset?

JT is one of the strongest characters in football and demanded that all around him gave everything and then some.
So I ask again why is he not getting involved on match day? Each game we see him sitting quietly in the dug out>
Come on JT. Be the arse kicker we so badly need, don't just take the money become a real hero to people that held you on high last season.
Prove to us that you are a Villa man!

Not his job to do that its deanos but he hasn't got it in him in my view, terry will make a good manager in my view he demands respect players would respect him in my view and give 110 percent unlike now.

Not his job?
We see other number 2's getting involved.
He is a strong character and regardless of his position he could, should, would be involved.
He would not be changing tactics, he would be enforcing tactics.
I think that there is a certain friction on the bench and Deano perhaps didn't want JT but it was part of the deal.
Are we grooming JT?
Managers at AVFC hold a poison chalice and this is somewhat to do with supporters. Deano was top of the supporters list, but did the new owners want to pacify the crowd by appointing their man.
I don't go with the get rid group nor the pro group. Dean has got the job and the crowd go with the turf, so to speak.
He will rise or fall with the results but using JT could be more beneficial than letting him sit on the bench quietly.
However is JT's objective to use us as a stepping stone to his desire. There will be a vacancy very soon but is it time for JT to take that enormous leap of faith in his own undeniable target at Stamford Bridge, or would he do better with a lower starting point, AVFC.

Not sure mate me personally i wanted bigsam yes his style isn't for every1s taste but he gets instant results and players respond everton finished 8th and he got the sack that was awfull there not going to finish higher, he's the only old school manager i'd want, yes smith was in my 3 aswell along with henry who i'm glad we didn't get now, but big sam would get us out this league if smith fails, he tells it how he sees it and wouldn't be scare too tell the players what he thinks, he'd be perfect in my eyes so would warnock aswell.
