Hutton is a real weakness. Liability at the back and not good enough going forward. I know I'll get slated because he improved last year but really is being shown up now.

I agree johnnydixon

Think both Hutton and Taylor are just not good enough both areas need strengthening in January.

Most frustrating player must be kodja
His final ball / pass is pathetic for his ability.

Would play abrahams on the left with hogan in the middle then adomah or bolasie on the right.

I'd just replace Kodjia with Bolasie. Abraham has to be central, nobody can protect the ball like him.
To be fair to Taylor the system suits him better as it's closer to how Swansea played. When Jack and Kodjia get good positions there are some good triangles going around there, just don't let Taylor try cross.

Would also say I was happy with Hutton tonight. So many commentators say the best movement of a centre forward in those positions is no movement and if Tammy or someone else had drifted to penalty spot when Huts got to byline he'd have had 2-3 assists.

I thought Hutton played as well as anyone last night and it is baffling why anyone should single him out. I accept he is only a championship player but he is more consistent tham most of the team.

Thought Hutton gave the ball away more than expected of him. Thought his return to RB surprisingly has seen a blip in his form. Thought Neil Taylor did ok and I have thought he had been useless recently under Bruce especially. Kodja did well too just missing out on finding his finishing boots though. Whether this is a new manager bounce or not all feels more pressing and better tempo. Next match a massive test and then another break which should help Dean Smith and team re their way of playing UTV.

No one can say Hutton does not give 100%every game and I respect him for that,
But as a full back he loses his marker to easily,

My son thinks Hutton has a bubble around him that doesn’t allow for any criticism. He has earned this protection because he gives 100% could have left this season for bucks elsewhere. How he was bombed out of villa park and made his way back as a modern day legend is a credit to the man! Will back him, love the guy “Alan Hutton, Alan Hutton”.
