Looks like derby are having there usual wobble come end of season,
Fulham are really on fire now and are a serious side for 2nd place,
If the worse comes to it I would rather they got 2nd place over Cardiff,
But it's in our hands now to keep on winning and keep up the pressure on Fulham and Cardiff,
I really hope so,
Play offs are a lottery and it's up for grabs for any of the 4 teams in it,
But we want 2nd place and I'm preying we get it.

Really the way things stand Fulham have got to put pressure on us not the other way round mate, still above them and a game in hand against QPR, win that and a nice 4 point cushion. Their due a blip and looking at the highlights derby were very poor at the back but eventually unlucky not to grab a draw. Barnsley winning against Cardiff on Tuesday would be perfect for us, puts blues 5 from safety and if we win we are 1 off second. Still loads of points to b played for, get everyone fit and another 7 game winning run wouldn’t go amiss. If the worst was to happen and we end up in the play offs I think we could beat Bristol City, Cardiff, Derby or Middlesbrough over 2 legs, only team I’d worry about was Fulham but we normally beat them at home, just their team on a huge pitch at Wembley lots of space would be lethal.

You say Fulham are due a blip,
Which I can understand but villa also have being on a great run also and they could say the same about us and we are due a blip also!
There is plenty of twists yet in this race for 2nd place,
As I said I would rather have Cardiff in play offs than Fulham
But I hope it does not come to that,
I want that 2nd spot and it's going down to the wire.

Barnsley winning at Cardiff would be great but I don't care about putting the bluenoses into further trouble it's about our situation which concerns me,

Would you not class losing to Fulham and drawing at home to Preston as a blip? We’ve had a little wobble, it’s unrealistic to win 9/ 10 games in a row so we managed seven, injuries caught up, had a little wobble, now players are coming back and we should be back on it. Sunderland, Wolves, QPR and Bolton all before the international break, 9 or 10 points will be decent and should keep us in 3rd possibly second, following that fixtures against hull, reading and Norwich should put us in a strong position hopefully second going into the final run of fixtures against some of the big teams.

And would you also not consider our form in December a blip.

Chris you make it seem quite easy for us,
Losing to Fulham who are on a roll and dropping 2 points against Preston is not what I call a blip,
Think we have got 25 points from last 30 if I'm not mistaken,
I may be wrong on that of not,
That is very good form for me,
If we lose 2-3 games in next 4 games that is a blip for me,
Derby are going through a blip now of mainly drawing or losing,
I hope your valuation of them games coming up do come true but I'm not counting chickens yet,
There will be ups and downs that's for sure.

Not easy, just being optimistic. Dropping 4 points after winning 7 in a row is a blip. Look at the whole season, we have had 3 blips, the start of the season then we went on a brilliant run, December then we went on another brilliant run and now hopefully we can do the same.

Agree, I think losing to Fulham and the draw against Preston was not really a blip, I think its more of a pointer to form.
Neither result surprised to be honest.
If we had lost both and then got tonked at Sheffield we would probably be classed as having a blip.
