So Barry Fry cleverly stoked the fire today which will actually serve to create a great atmosphere on Saturday. He has also raised a few issues that will have some fans wondering and asking questions.
1. Does the good Dr lack ambition?
2. Is he another Randy Lerner?
3. Is the club lucky to have Steve Bruce?
(There will be a hat full of others)

It doesn't however take a genius to see through the wind up to understand the facts

1. Of course he has ambition he bought the club for £62 million and then smashed another £80 million on the team. The £80 million may well have been parachute payments but in that scenario only a fool would have spent his own money saving his own for a premiership onslaught
2. He cares for the club and we can only hope he isn't another Lerner . The way he communicates with fans is certainly different and refreshing . Having met him at Villa Park I can only Say that he appears to be a humble man who understands the importance of connecting with fans and has a genuine look in his eyes
3. Of course we are lucky to have Steve Bruce but make no mistake he is the better off!
All in all we seem to be on our way so let's be positive and keep the premiership in our sights in 2018. I think we will be thanking our new owner soon and he will have the last laugh on Barry Fry come May.
