As a paper lad in Sutton Coldfield delivered to Brian Little, as milk lad to Andy Gray and Colin Gibson. Milk man was a villa fan so was never allowed to collect money st their door, watched from the milk float only! Never got any closer to knowing any players!

I had a chat with blue nose, Pat Van Den Hauwe while having a pee in Faces nightclub in 1979.
He came over as very arrogant, maybe because I told him I had claret and blue running through my veins.
I just kept him talking while I pissed on his shoes, made my night, pulled as well.

Yes mate he just a normal bloke. Will talk to anyone. Does the odd guest appearance when he is back but he lives in Australia now. Told me a few stories about ex players! About bollockings in the changing room and what it felt like to be playing in the San siro with flares being let off all around! Some good stories.

I had a game of golf against mark draper and Joachim once!
Was in a club in Leicestershire and being the only villa fans my dad and me played with the Leicester rejects!

Was great, and both where great fun. until jj got stuck against a tree, and kicked his ball out when he thought no one was looking!
Didn't like me calling him a cheat, and both left as soon as we finished on the 18th!
At least they signed the cards!

Met Dion dublin in a chippy in stratford years ago and got him to sign a rather greasy bit of paper. Served andy gray a coffee and a mineral water in a pub in bromsgrove with a woman who i'm sure was not his wife! Nigel reo coker was mates with a chef i worked with in another pub in bromsgrove and came in for rabbit! Nice. And get this when i was a kid my uncle phoned from his bar in new york to tell me dwight yorke was going to united and confirmed it by putting him on the phone! Believe me i begged him to stay i tried i really did lads!

Talking of signing things! I signed a serviette with Forest logo when visited the city ground for villa away! I signed it as Stan Collymore to a mouthy forest work colleague as a joke. Didn't realise till years later we forgot to tell him it was a fake, he had only framed it and had it on the wall in his lounge for years, pride and place! Lost touch with him so probably still there!

My wife grew up next door to the Latchford family in the 1960s and 1970s but it's not something I like to talk about!
