The new manager will have around 30 million plus to bring new talent to villa park this summer. villa board member just after the takeover never gave rdm a number about how much money he can spend. i told him he must be careful. dr. tony speaking yesterday, crikey, seems them goalposts are shifting double-lively already.

champions league in 3 years time, NON Championship in 3 years time a distinct possibility, for a man with his eyes 'wide open' about football, he hasn't got a danny la rue about building a team and the time it takes, what are the chances there'll be a game show over in china soon.

yes, and the winner gets a 2 year contract to play for Aston Villa, this ain't, right, wyness has been brought in to change our structure and give out performance related contracts, low pay but massive bonuses for stuff like promotion, great you say;gives them hunger and desire, bad, because it promotes no sense of loyalty, here today gone tomorrow attitude, some players are confidence driven, not going to do well under this type of regime, our youth;who are our future, how they going to get a game, the manager won't trust them, no loyalty either, we'll just get mercenaries.

i hear marcusson (i think that's the forwards name from sweden we're after) favours going to leeds, a club in turmoil with an owner who changes a manager like changing a tv channel, now why would he do that, ask yourself why, we're bigger (no discourtesy to leeds fans) and we have more financial clout (not so sure now), its simple, we've started doing things the wrong way already, the wrong way to attract footballers, but the right way to run a business, the thing is football isn't like any other business, but again, our new overseer knows this and has the answers.

looks like no trip to old trafford for a bit longer than this season me thinks-and before you all stamp your feet in unison, look at what's been promised and said, and look what we're doing, its all smoke and mirrors-and that's a reality check whether you like it or lump it.

But surely let's say. in the next couple of years we get back in prem. Then an only then can we start doing things the right way? If we're going to pay massive bonus to secure promotion this season. Then I say happy days. once we're back where we belong we can get right sort players who want to play for our great club. until then, we got haven't a lot offer. It maybe the wrong but surely the quickest way back.

I hit agree by accident i thought it was for the post by villa daz as i too will lump it and wait and see. No offence because we are all villa bros but don't be so negative you read to much into things. This is what we've been waiting for (except relegation) a buy out from someone who talks the talk unless you would perefer an owner to come in and say we are happy with the club as it is and have no intention of getting promoted so thers no cash and were hiring mickey mouse and goofy to run the team. Weve managed to bag a couple of gems with both di matteo and clarke it can only start from ther regardless of what player bonuses ther may be to perform i'm happy so far so up the villa literally.

Here's a radical idea for any Villa fans out there who may be considering posting some negative scaremonger chat about who not to buy because he ain't no good. Or the owner is a con man with no money and all "beware the ides of March" crap. Why not ponder a while on the season ahead with a cheery smile and get behind the club and cheer us back to the Prem.
Just a thought.

Totally agree rdm and clarkey are a godsend, as for mickey mouse and goofy, their on the board mate, as for negativity, if the owner says 1 thing when in the process of buying the club (since april i might add), uses a vetenary surgeon to be the fit and proper person to get deal through, the vet resigns and disappears, the vets ex-business partner then steps out into the light and joins the board with two more of his cronies, they all talk the talk, but their previous business dealings do not do the walk, i'll ask you this, if i run a business and let it go into adminstration because i refuse to pay creditors 17 grand;would you hand me over the keys to run your business which runs into the 100's of millions-i think not, and what favour did he do which would make dr. xia agree to this;time will tell but for me, he ain't no rainmaker.

So if he is a very shrewd businessman and as has been mentioned he has bought us at a rock bottom price he has one aim. Get us promoted and reestablished in the Prem and then sell the club at a healthy profit. Not break the club up get relegated and lose a large amount of his investment. Let's not be tainted by the last regime and embrace a new beginning. Remember that without this investment we would be looking at successive relegations for sure. Now I actually look forward to the window and a season of possibilities.
