Hi lads n maybe ladies, new poster here. So glad we can now say we're finally safe! Hopefully we'll hear more about a takeover now. Has anyone heard anything concrete?

You are quite right. We can't endure another season like this one again next year. It's just not on.
Something has GOT to be done.

I agree Clarrie Blue, something definitely has to be done. At least for now we can just relax and enjoy the summer and hope for good times to return to Villa Park. Hopefully there will be a statement from Mr Lerner soon enough stating the sale of the club. Have you heard anything on who may be interested in buying us?

To be honest, no. There are rumours galore but the only person who really knows what will happen is Lerner. The rest is all just speculation and guesswork. I think the one certain thing to come from all this is that the current owner has lost interest and is definitely ready to sell to someone else. We must wait and see as to who that may be. My guess would definitely be another American.

Yes there has been so many different rumours flying about but hopefully one will stick and we all have our wish of a major investor to take us up the table competing at the right end.
It couldn't be more obvious that Lerner has had enough now. He tried and failed and has since gave up.
I really do feel something this summer will happen though. He couldn't of made it more clear in his statement the other week without saying so. Maybe it's all getting sorted now as we speak? Fingers crossed
