I can't help think back to liverpool last year when we won and how good we were. We passed the ball brilliantly and benteke was absolutely class. But wow how things can change. Benteke this year looks like all he wants is the extra money he got in the new contact and can't be bothered, all we do is lump the ball up field and last year we were one of the only teams in the division that were pretty much guarteed to score in a game this year no one looks like scoring. Gabby and Weimar are also off it so it is not just benteke but the only three that look bothered are delph Westwood and Vlaar no one else looks like they want to be there

I'm not saying that you are wrong but look at it from a different angle. Imagine you're boss came into you today and offered you a huge wage increase after you had recorded a massive turnover for the company over the past year. You get the rise and that it why you put in the extra hours, so that you get paid more money to support yourself and your family. You know that you are young and have a big future and that other companies want to approach you, you've done your work, why would you do anything to jeopardise getting an even bigger pay packet - you have no loyalty to your company, you work for them and they pay you a wage - no strings attached!

This is similar to the Benteke situation, if you were him would you risk an even more serious injury, when you know that next month you could go to a better team, with better players and a better salary. Or would you stay at a middle of the road team who more often than not gets booed off by their so called loyal fans often unjustly.

We can all pretend that loyalty exists in football nowadays but we're only fooling ourselves, money talks and if you were in the same boat (with no attachment to Villa) you'd do the same thing. Playing or not - the money matters at the end of the day!

I wouldn't stop trying just because I'm being payed more. What's the point? All it's doing is showing that you have a bad attitude and other clubs won't like that. Why would any team want him when he's in the form he is at the moment? he's done just what papiss cisse and jelavic did. You can put him not scoring down to our midfield but he managed it last year. So no I definately wouldn't do the same
