beyond useless today, out classed, out passed, out muscled, clueless, andros townsend showed gabby how to be a winger and beat players at ease, weiman does nothing but moan if he gets muscled off the ball, westwood is at best an average championship player, and delph what can I say, if its not going his way he just gets nasty. another season of struggles my afraid.

Agree, but how come KEA plays he is below average, PL has favourites, all his cheap imports, Kozac will not make it in the prem not happy villa fan and not a doom boy

Not sure I agree with the above post entirely, but do agree that Weiman was out of his depth today and perhaps is starting to believe his own hype. Delphi I thought was our best player again today, Spurs are a top club with a highly skilled squad I think some of us need to calm down and manage their expectations of results, league finish etc. I personally will be happy with any think higher than a 12th place finish. U have no idea what u r talking about. Villa were obviously never going to win 2day because the Tottenham squad is worth about 200-250 million more that ours, but to say were going to have a season of struggles! U r clueless mate

We have played 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th and 10th in the table, and have more points than last season already, and yet you still find reason to moan when we lose to spurs? Have a day off, bet none of the negative people on this site were tipping us for relegation after the man city game? Part time fans worry me at times! Clueless.

Hi I said we were poor at Norwich and very very lucky against Man city, I don't think we will get relgated but its the poor displays, we have no class at all in midfield, can not win at villa park, can you give me some positives not a doom boy but PLEASE say it as it is.

I suppose that is the nub of the problem and of everyones frustration. We were at home against a side who are a rung down from the top 4 and we never really felt we would get anything from it
I don't know how we change it. The premier league now seems like a reflection of the globalised world we live in. The difference between the haves and the have nots is just getting bigger. Very depressing

To be brutally honest with what mendax has said I don't think its worth being in prem now, we will never compete against the big 5 clubs, but would be competitive in the championship. win more games, and get back that feel good feeling.
