Kingvilla makes a statement one day and says completely the opposite the next day, and now he is saying NO more signings, make of that what you will.

I would never say I dislike Kingvilla. I don't know the guy. He could be a wonderful fella. I also don't need lecturing about respecting other peoples opinions. If you noticed any of my other posts (not that there is any reason you should) I think you would find that I am more than happy to cede to someone elses point of view if it is well argued and well put
What I do dislike is people timewasting. That said, if KingVilla genuinely, 100 % believed that what he was saying was true I would apologise to him without hesitation if he was annoyed/upset by anything I have said in response to his posts
I would however ask him to consider what he is posting, the quantity he is posting and the way he expresses himself as I don't think, that based on the number of people who seem as irked as I do, that he is doing himself any favours

To mendex, as you say not physically fighting "obviously" you are on line. but if in a pub you spoke the way you made you message sound you may be asked to leave for aggressive behaviour as it does sound like you are rather angry and if I was to imagine you saying that to kingvilla in a pub I would imagine your voice to be raised and you to have an aggressive and argumentative stance. that's all

Assumptions again ethavfc. I support a prem team far superior to yours but who I support is not relevant we are talking about hutton etc and the other mercenaries in your team. Also the way you attack other people for having an opinion. no mate no jealousy from me far far from it I am looking forward to challenging for silverware especially with our new signings where as your young inexperienced team may struggle again and the truth be known benteskey is not an unknown anymore so will struggle with the defences. but hey I could be wrong we wil;l see. whatever happens you would do better without in the in house arguments or without calling one of your own

Well either way I don't care, why do you seem to think us villa fans (who more often than not have each others back) occasionally disagreeing with each other will make a difference to our performances on the pitch. Also I can't think of a team from any where near the midlands that are far superior to us, therefor you must be a glory hunter who spends half his weekends driving up and down the m6 going to home games, unless of course you're one of the ones that only goes to your teams games when they play somebody local. Whoever or whatever you are, sod of onto your own page and stop worrying about us.

I'm failing to see what value you bring to this conversation. If we really take a look at what you are rambling about here and strip it back to the bones, you are stating that we Villa fans are fighting and that we have mercenaries at the club.
Firstly, this is an opinion based site and you are entitled to yours, just like king villa is.
However, when you fail to give any credence nor reason to your views, this is when you will be called out.
This has happened time and time again, so king villa will be lambasted for his random wish lists and time wasting.
Funny how he doesn't bite back. isn't it?
Secondly, every club in the world has players that are overpaid and over valued. In an extremely short amount of time, Paul Lambert has transformed Villa from player personnel to the over all winning attitude.
Villa had been set back years by Mc Leish and to think that his reign at our club is a nothing more than a blotch on our record speaks volumes to the job Lambert has done.
It will take time to get the deadwood out, noones doubting that here at AVFC.
So again, what is your point in raising this?
Btw, I would question what kinds of pubs you hang out in. Sounds more like a cricket club or a yacht club to me buddy.

having stripped my point to the bones you correctly indicate that I have called out the villa backbiters. deadwood, yes we all have them I was merely suggesting that your deadwood are so dead that they will hang around and keep taking a pay check rather than go and play in the lower divisions for less money (although this may happen with villa). As for lamberts transformation, fighting a relegation battle as you did last year is hardly what most clubs would have wanted transforming into maybe these are the heights you are happy chasing. And as for your last point I don't hang about in cricket clubs etc but neither do I hang around in deluges where the saloon bar scenario takes over and people are shouting and rawping at each other. I appreciate you support villa but surely you cannot class the transitional process so far as successful, if so what happens when you don't have such a successful season, championship football where some of your deadwood players belong. anyway I didn't intend to be antagognistic I originally just wondered why when someone had an opinion on an opinion page why he would be called out by fellow fans in such a fashion as he was when you all share a common ground that being avfc. simple really

Villadave it isn't an opinion about hutton etc enjoying a wage at a cost to your club it is a fact and they have proved they are happy to kick a ball abput all week with no ambition as they have turned down opportuities to leave for first team football as they would rather the higher wage than ambition which is how we got into this debate this is a fact unless they left last night so not agreeing with a fact is your choice even if is as blatant as it is. I think you are free to think what you like so you don't have to agree with any facts. As for the team I support what relevance dors it have on the above conversation suffice to say for the last ten years or more they have finished well above you ergo they are a superior team

I think we will have a good season this year maybe top 10, and if the management and playing staff are left to get on with their job we will improve again next year, PROMISE.

Well I am surprised to say the least, you support a team with a great tradition like Villa.
I have seen some great games between the two clubs over the years dating back to 1960.
Chivers, Gilzean, etc Spuds have had some great sides.

Touche villadave I do like to banter and debate it is always interesting to get other fans perceptions on issues especially about your own club. I can only apologise about selling hutton to you guys (not me personally) but I thought he had an ok game last night his main problem isn't going forward its defending which isn't veruy good when your a number 2 for a team. Good luck with the season I truly don't think you will have any issues like last year as I think the young lads you blooded last year will come good. you have a great manager with a good eye for the game in benteke you potentially have a true star who in the near future could earn you a lot of money in one way or another. not that your a selling club (as proven over benteke) but unfortunately when the big boys come knocking we all lose our best players (modric, bale etc) but if the chairman re-invests it eases the pain. hope for a couple of decent games against you and make sure you win your first game (arsenal)
