I’ve been looking at this fella called Jota Silva who they’re calling the Portuguese Jack Grealish because of how he looks and style of play, plays for the Portuguese club our owners have a stake in, very interesting player at a third of the price of Grealish ?

I would love Jack back but even if we could afford him, I just don’t see him as an Emery type of player if we are looking for someone to play out wide on the left then I would look at someone like Summerville at Leeds. If we are looking at someone who can play either in the centre of midfield or out wide then I think Eze would be worth a punt although he would cost big money.

Grealish for me made his bed yes he got us out of a very tight situation with FFP but I believe Rogers is more of a better player technically and more of a brain.

He may not have achieved the numbers he'd like at City (for several reasons), but he'd still walk into almost any team when he's got consistent game time under his belt. So yes, I'd take him in a heartbeat and he would definitely improve our team.

Each to their own mate but as much as I'm proud of many of our players this season I don't think they're anywhere near Jack in terms of ability. He's far from past it and given a consistent run in a top team he's one of the leagues best.but that won't be proven unless he's given that run, so doubt we'll ever know unless he leaves City.
And as for that old 'never go back' saying it's got some truth to it but it's kind of obvious really, most people leave because they've done well and by the time they come back they've already peaked. So the saying might be accurate to a point, but the cause and effect are probably slightly more removed.
