I see the rumours around Luiz to Arsenal won't go away and they are likely to enquire again in January. I wonder whether our being linked with Ndidi at Leicester is to cover the possibility of him leaving as I wouldn't have thought a defensive midfielder would have been high on our list of priorities in January.

Ndidi is being linked with every PL team, probably because he’s 2 good for the championship, and if arsenal want luiz in a January window I’d say they will have to part with 100 million, I’d put my house on villa telling any club to do one in January if they come looking for any of our best players, I honestly can’t see any of best 13-14 players allowed to leave, some fringe players will probably leave to free up space and help fund an addition or 2.

With recent transfers I agree it should take £100m to get Luiz and I can't see us selling core players mid-season. That said, I think we're at that point now where we could get inflated fee's for a few players and with ffp and the need to balance books, I can see us cashing in on one or two in the next 12 months.

I have a feeling whether it’s in January or next summer Luiz will end up at Arsenal, if that’s the case, and given Ndidi’s contract ends in June picking him up in January for a relatively small fee would make sense even if it’s only as an insurance policy. If Luiz were to go. I wouldn’t mind us picking up either Tierney or ESR as part of any deal or maybe even both.

Ndidi would settle quickly if we signed him. Remember last season when he squared it to Traore who scored! Hahaha

Let’s go get that 5th spot with champions league and put all those fears of players leaving to bed. apart from city I think this squad can achieve as much as any other pl team with 2 or 3 additions

Luiz is class and made a difference against AZ. I can’t understand why McGinn isn’t constantly in the papers but am so glad he isn’t.
