Aston Villa CEO Tom Fox is creating a new roll at VP for a director of football to assist P Lambert.
He has created the new role to enhance the development of players, both current and future, so that Aston Villa can fight for a place at the very top of the Premier League. Paul Lambert is expected to stay and assist with Fox's hunt for a professional capable of steering Villa's management on the right course. This follows Fox's recent scouting revamp and is likely to be the next stage of nurturing talent for Aston Villa's future.

Shame he's not focussing on steadying the ship before he starts setting a course.
