I live in mallorca. Charlie Nicholas has a holiday home here. He has been to my bar a few times. Apparently he's good mates with PL. An he reckons that PL has been told that there is definitely a buyer in the pipe line an its just matter of time until its sorted.

I saw the news British consortium wants to buy the blues with an american investment I think that's why bob rich is apparently in birmingham so I don't think he will buy the villa only time will tell

Its quiet because absolutely nothing is happening on any front, from takeover talk to transfers and probably won't for a long while. I see a few other PL strugglers have already strengthened for next season but we won't get anyone in, we are a joke and certs for relegation

Apparently a Kazakhstan business man is the favorite to buy villa. He is a business partner of Donald trump and has invested in highly rated players.

Todays Independent has an interesting back page! Drill down into this guys business dealings and you soon discover he already has UK based interests and a sports "management" company that has interests in players such as Radamel Falcao and intersetingly Steven Defour who has been linked with AV several times recently! What about The old Thai president who was owner of Citeh, before the oil money? he had an appalling human rights record as president, doubt a few high class hookers bought for officals some 30-40 years ago would trouble anyone now.
