AVFC to be sold, expect announcement on stocks soon.
Let's hope a Saudi princess takes our fancy and decides Sir Alex needs one last challenge?

And were did you find this information?
Kingvilla perhaps

2.) 04 Jan 2014
Rumours of stockbrokers being readied were on twitter yesterday. That doesn't mean there is a buyer ( that we know of ). This is a rumour site after all so keep your knickers on dear.
The bit about king abdullahs sister and Sir Alex is wishful thinking, she makes the man city sheiks look like benefit cheats and man utds demise just proves Sir Alex was arguably the best manager of the modern British era.

If Villa were to be taken over by an Abramovich type person, I would stop supporting the team as the heart of the club would be ripped out. I've long had a dislike of clubs that buy success such as your Man City's - I would much rather be in a more modest position in the table and keep the club that we all know and love!

4.) 04 Jan 2014
I think the hearts already been ripped out mate when it comes to modern day football, we all know we are still running at a financial loss. when the bomb squad have all gone then how many years to cover back all the losses?
in the mean time were always three games away from being relegated. no ambition for cup runs, league games are a difficult watch.
give me Ronaldo strutting on the wings anyday over Abrighton.

5.) 04 Jan 2014
Don't be ridiculous jon, to say you would STOP supporting a team shows you don't truly care about them anyway, we could do with less support of your kind! who would you 'support' instead then?

6.) 04 Jan 2014
This will not happen, has stated above the heart has been ripped out of the club, but I wish it was true imagine seeing great players playing great football for this great football club villajk

7.) 04 Jan 2014
AVFC asking price is 250 mill.
Red bull current offer is 150 mill.
Now that price and offers are out expect change.

With all due respect guys, I believe football to be about good sportsmanship and where teams are on a similar footing, since money entered football, the game that I loved was destroyed. Now I've supported Villa all my life and I have been delighted that we've kept the old morals of the game and not descended into financial oblivion.

Don't get me wrong, I am a fan like you and I want to see Villa do well and challenge the upper echelons of the league, BUT I wouldn't be prepared to risk the collapse of the club not just on a moral level but also on a financial level. What would happen if the sheikh or tycoon pulled out, the millions spent on wages would ensure that we spiral dpwn the divisions (just look at Pompey & Harry). You're also forgetting that whilst we are experiencing success that will hit you hard in the pocket, merchandise and season tickets will escalate beyond belief.

Don't rip into me and call me a crap fan or say that you can do without me, I am a fan and want Villa to do well, just not at the expense of what we have at the moment. Just look at Everton & Arsenal who have all had steady backing and are now thriving as oppose to Pompey & Leeds who had an injection of cash and plummeted down the divisions. No "long term" good comes out of multi billionaire backing!

Red Bull would make the team play in red & white, change the club name like they have already done with the three clubs they already own, are you sure you want that?.

11.) 04 Jan 2014
Gerrard houlier is their head of global football, he knows Randy.
Claret and blue army will become red and white army, Villa Park probably Villa Wings Arena, Red Bull Villians the new Aston Villa. Please no.
We are heading towards a crossroads were the devil is going to make an offer for our soul, time will tell if he is successful or not.

12.) 05 Jan 2014
First off, the only reason Red Bull changed colours an the name of clubs they currently/have owned is because them clubs have no tradition, no identity and no marketing value.

Secondly, the reason why RedBull wouldn't do the same with a club like Villa is because our name an colours are apart of the clubs identity and marketing potential. RedBull will look to build on that indentity not destroy it.

Hi all, Some weeks back I posted a similar line that the Red Bull teams play in red & white. The ED. pointed out that this was not true.
