Its a painfull thing to say but we need an experienced keeper as top priority NOW, at the moment we're what,10 points behind the leaders, or to put it another way,3 wins and a draw, come january we'll loose 3 attacking players for at least 6 games in reality-minimum, that means from a possible 18 points we're going to be lucky to get maybe 10 points, another 3 wins and a draw i reckon (optimistically), that's virtually another 3 wins down, so even if we win every game till january that's approximately an 18 point margin.

all things being equal, let's be generous and say we're only 12 points off the lead, that's giving the leaders a 4 game head start (possibly 6 games worst case), hence why we need to be brutal and drop gollini right now, and bring in an experienced keeper, he's our achilles heal, and unless we do this right now, we're playing catch-up, it'll be too much pressure, we got to act now, TODAY already!

I honestly think we would have been better off if he had been sent off after a minute in that game. If we had, people would have tried to cover for his absence. As it was, we were lured into believing we had a right-back on the field. (clearly, we didn't)

Kaydee, we're going to lose at least 3 players, attacking players, the chances of us getting 3 quality replacements without paying well over the odds are very very slim, the chances of 3 good players choosing us over a premiership club in trouble are not very good, and also, if you were a player looking to better yourself, would you come to a club when you knew you were only a stop-gap for a maximum of 6 games? we're going to need some kinda salesman in our corner to schmooze them to choose us, but, you never know!

1st of all i think dr. tony has to rethink the words world class striker. kodjia from bristol city is not what i think of when somebody says world class striker. Also wow how much have we paid robbed by bristol city twice in a week. now december early january has our clever chairmam thought of who exactly is going to play upfront 4 us? Use your brain, Kodija wasn't the first target. Hernandez bid was turned down and we don't know who else they were after when he said the statement. Secondly they were running out of options, who cares if he over paid for him, it's his money. Even if he was our 3rd or 4th choice on the transfer list he is a decent striker and we needed another striker, so stop moaning again. We have 2 of the of the top 4 scorerst from the championship last season FGS.

was out on the lemonade with a few peeps and after a few baby shams we discussed what managers we rated who were young and upcoming, we said the top two that we personally liked were lee johndon (gary's son) and david wagner (music to my ears because i think he's the next superstar manager meself! ), and then we talked about the one and only club that matters;and the boys said rdm is very, very good technically, but the one thing they said they thought was that our squad was lob-sided and as such we were making the mistake of making the players fit the system rather than the system fit the players, and the more i think about it, maybe that could be the case, what do you think?

We have to take responsibility as a collective team for some reason we come out poor 2nd halfs. Fair to say that in any 45 mins we were unrecognisable from the last few seasons. Creating chances scoring goals making tackles finding passes just like a proper team. We took Huddersfield apart for an hour until Wells came on and they raised their game. Taking chances will allow us to relax into the season and build confidence. We have had a very inconsistent start, which I think we expected but we have to remain positive there is still 41 games to
go! You have to remember we have signed 7/ 8 players and there going to need time to gel, this international break I think will certain help is us as although a few players will be away he can work with a lot of them! I also think it's down to fitness in the fact that we are playing so well in the first half and not so well in the second!

Also I think you have to remember in every game this season we could have been out of sight by half time so we just need to start scoring!

Regarding transfers I think we need 2 strikers, an attacking mid and for me a goalkeeper just to take the pressure of Gollini a bit.

Just got back from the match today same old story first half fantastic should have been outsight. 2nd half awful two of the goals were the goalkeeping error I think 1st 1 definitely 2nd the free kick his positioning was terrible showed far to much! On the plus side grealish had a great game again it's going to take time to gel. ayew was awful he just don't look intrested very sulky selfish player he need to go in my view! I think we really missed a trick not signing randolph or pantilimon even marshall at cardiff. We av got experienced defenders in but then put a young keeper in baffles me a bit. I agree with Mr. knowitall about enjoying our football now we have dropped down a league. We thought it was the end of the world when we went into the old 3rd. Division years ago but have happy memories of standing in a crowd of over 48,000 for a game against Bournemouth. A 3rd. Division record. Then the 1974-75 season in the 2nd
Divison was absolutely brilliant. We only lost one game at home and I was in a crowd of more than 57,000 for our final home game of that season. Great football. Fantastic atmosphere home and away. Does anyone remember our game at Blackpool that season when we took over the town for the weekend. Very happy days. Hope we can recreate it again this season.

Westwood and Gardner are too lightweight for the championship. desperatley need another striker ( Kodak is pathetic) bit more creativity/ good luck in the final third and we will be top six. On the plus point our defence is looking really solid and elphick will become a legend.

I like the look of Wells he's better than Bamford all day long, he had most poeple worried each time he got the ball v Huddersfield. After reading a few of the latest interviews with Ravel, he said he really regrets his behaviour earlier in his career and it seems like his head is coming right, I reckon he has something to prove. I would sign him on a 1 year contract and see what he has got to prove.

Agree must stick with him, the first kick against SWFC you can see often through the season and was poor but bad luck that wasn't a villa player to flick on! Second kick was a fluke and could have gone anywhere. The rest of performance was sound with some confidence, let's not knock that now.

Yes you can argue the case he's not a proven premiership striker . but I'd have Bamford in the squad any day of the week . Wells is very good. I also like assombalonga (spelling? )

I actually think we have missed this sort of player sadly since petrov.
He might not be a world beater, a world class player, but this is a team sport, and the team to be successful has to be better than the sum of its parts, as Leicester, (sadly) he 'could' be all we need.

Last year we didn't have one anywhere near the team, looked what that did for us.

The real problem with Adama is that once he has the ball he just doesn't know how to pass. This has been the case in almost all the games he has ever played in.

He needs to take on defences, something he can do with ease, but then look up and make the killer pass into the box as defenders are coming out to cover him. Do that and he's worth every penny he earns.

Against Rotherham he had one run, did the hard work well, but didn't pass and lost the ball. Other players need him to grow up and play for the team not himself. In many ways he is playing now like the young Ronaldo did when he joined United.

The truth is that no one can know yet. We haven't seen enough to know what to believe. If you look at the league table at the moment, Huddersfield are 3rd and Newcastle are 17th- I'm confident that they won't finish in those positions. The Championship is a tough league to call, so I think we'd have to wait until about 10 games in to really know where we'll finish.
