Pavel Pogrebnyak may be pursued by Lambert this summer along with Ashley Williams and Wilfried Zaha

Believable12 Unbelievable6

Another confident of Lanbert?

Agree5 Disagree0

Thoose three players would make a big difference to our side!

Paul Lambert is apparently looking at 'Coke' from La Liga outfit Sevilla, Steven N'Zonzi of Blackburn is a possibility if Mohamed Diame cant be persuaded to join on a bosman (looks Liverpool bound) Nathan Clyne is another name being talked about.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Pepsi and shirley would be a better choice
Villa are a joke all fizz and no sparkle

Agree6 Disagree9

It's koke not coke

Agree3 Disagree3

Must be a blues fan

Agree4 Disagree2

I quite liked Pepsi & Shirley. If both were available, sadly one is not, then the dressing room would be something to witness. As for all fizz and no sparkle you would have been correct last season, but another season is around the corner and we all wait to see if the corks pop during the season.

Agree3 Disagree2

Coke and Koke are 2 different players, Coke of Sevilla (who we're supposedly after?) is a defender where 'Koke' is an old striker playing for some Azerbaijan team? - unfortunately it would be more likely we're after this one

Agree1 Disagree1

Actually Koke is a 19 year old midfielder for Athletico Madrid

Agree1 Disagree0

Its really refreshing to know exactly what Lambert is doing from day to day looking at new players to bring in and where from, Villa fans are in for a short sharp shock,he never lets anyone other than the CEO know what he wants so all this is nothing more than wishful thinking.

Aston villa will sign Robert snodgrass and grant Holt for sure. Williams and Bennett from Boro are under consideration as is Ryan Bennett at Norwich.

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Well i thought he was slightly light weight and off the pace, as much as i wanted him too he never impressed me

Agree2 Disagree2

I don't want Holt.
Weimann will become as good as Bent in a season or two.

Agree7 Disagree4

You'll get nothing and no one from Norwich, dream on

Agree3 Disagree6

We dont want anyone else from Norwich we got the best man already from your pisspot club lol

Agree4 Disagree5

That's funny cause last time I looked we already took ur manager & we will take whatever else we want from u cause Norwich r a smaller club!

Agree4 Disagree5

Only your ex-manager and his backroom staff

Agree0 Disagree0

Except your manager lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you the guy that said Lambert would never leave Norwich? Seems like you got that wrong, and you just might get your last statement wrong. Open your eyes to the big world, there is no loyalty in football, if holt wants to leave, he will leave and this goes for any other player.

Agree2 Disagree0

Norwich said we wouldnt get lambert i they should stop talking sh*t really as if we want holt we'll get him

Agree1 Disagree1

Lambert tends to avoid imports, prefers British, under 25 with something to prove. Expect a couple of loans from top 6 clubs fringe players, a couple from the championship and one or two from the bottom third of the prem

Agree0 Disagree0

We paid more than 3 million for Ryan Bennett so you would have to offer more than double that to get us to consider. Unfortunately for you, you don't have enough money as this would blow nearly half of your budget

Agree1 Disagree1

Why would warnock sell their best player if they want to get promoted?

Agree1 Disagree1

So he doesn't leave for nothing next year maybe,.........

Agree1 Disagree0

Something you don't know about Norwich city, we have a CEO that has stated Holt is not for sale he is on 2 years left on his contract, McNally will put him in the reserves for 2 years and not allow him in for training untill the first team has gone home, yes anything other than to let you have him, Norwich have made him what he is Norwich won't sell him to you for £50mill

Agree0 Disagree1

Biggest problem for Villa is backroom team. Lambert's success was built around them. Culverhouse is a 9 season Norwich City man - and is likely more loyal to Norwich. Culverhouse (less so Lambert) was the key man, he led the training sessions which the Norwich players loved, he drove tactics and he was even more vocal than Lambert on the touchline. Norwich are holding out for compensation for him as they know Lambert wants him badly. However Culverhouse was upset by the way Lambert stormed out and is far from certain to re-join him. Indeed Norwich want to keep him. Lambert has said he is 'nothing' without Culverhouse. Lambert moved in haste, unless he can land Culverhouse then he won't enjoy the success he has. Moreover McNally was more influential than Lambert in chosing transfer targets working within the very well developed scouting network City have. Good luck to Villa but Culverhouse is the biggest signing you need next, forget 31 year old Holt, the former (along with Lambert and a £20m budget) is the key to your next 2-3 years.

Hope rumours are true that villa and Liverpool are in for diame and villa are looking to sign pogrebnyak after talks with fulham broke down.
Bit gutted about diame cause I think he will chose liver pool if it was a clear choice although I think he would get more game time with us

Believable7 Unbelievable3

Just read tese on sky soprts news

Agree2 Disagree3

I want to see Makoun & Carruthers in a central midfield partnership.
Diame is good but can we get him in?

Agree8 Disagree1

Ive seen Makoun and Carruthers play, not bad but wont improve us

Agree4 Disagree6

I don't get the big fuss about Diame. He couldn't even get in the Wigan team last season, and he has heart problems he would be a huge risk.

Agree4 Disagree3

Are we really sure about Makoun? Never seemed to do too much. Is he good enough for the prem?

Agree3 Disagree5

I didn't see anything wrong with makoun apart from the rest of the team couldn't keep up with his quick one touch passes he is what we need for quick attacking play not how we were under ginger t**t taking our time thinking about what to do and giving the other team time to work out what we were going to do and take possesion!

Agree7 Disagree0

Makoun can be a force in the Premier League. He has great vision and can pass a good ball. Can never understand why the ginger one loaned Makoun out and then loaned Jenas from Spurs.
