Apparently he isn't due back until Wednesday so this could be reason for him not attending the kit launch. Looks a bit dodgy to me tho.

You never get a full team at kit unveiling. Only select few. Big Ben could very well be on his way though but I wouldn't read to much into him not being at the kit unveiling there was many players who wasn't there.

Re Big Ben, I think he is a clever man, and will make his mind up after announcing the ownership/investment

Both Benteke and Delph are modelling the kit on the official villa website - so I wouldn't worry about that too much!

Seen a few of you guys mention a meeting Wednesday. Without sounding stupid with this being a rumour site but is this a definite or jist word going round? Otherwise I'll take my charger to work tomorrow, searching Aston Villa every 5 minutes for news drains it quixk!

Tom fox is meeting all staff to announce how the club will go forward. I think we may here as early as Thursday.

If Fox is announcing how the club are to go forward, then presumably staff will either be told that Lerner will still be the owner or we've/we're to be taken over by XXX. It just makes me wonder due to buying Sinclair, offering 9m for Gueye, rumours about offering Amavi 9m, being linked to Townsend (Spurs wanting 15m) large amounts of money in terms of Villa's recent spending over the last 3/4 seasons and I can't see Lerner ploughing that money in. Either way, I think all needs to be revealed soon and as a whole the club need to progress quickly so we know whwere we stand with Benteke/Delph so we have enough time to buy replacements ready for training!

{Ed030's Note - I suppose any prospective new owner will want to get the deal done as soon as possible, as it may change some things if certain players are sold this summer or any other problem arises. }
