Much as I am grateful for the fact that we have consecutively beaten two of the division's bottom-feeders, tomorrow's game will be the acid-test. If we can put in a good shift against Huddersfield away, then perhaps we can then say that we have turned the corner. Does anyone know if Bjarnason and / or Grealish are likely to have recovered from their knee injuries in time?

Think you are bang on menace. its been very good the last couple of wins, however the true test will come when we play teams at the top end of the division. It will be a tough ask, but hopefully the lads will take the confidence built up from the last couple of wins into the game with Huddersfield. another decent shift needs putting in make no mistake. It can be done look at forest takin out Brighton. their position should not put us off. NO FEAR.

Both Bjarnason and Grealish are still injured and will not play.

Kodjia out on the left and Davies in the centre from the start? Or Amavi left wing. Only options if we keep the formation.

Can't see why he wouldn't start amavi. He is quick and has a good delivery. Surely that left wing position would be ideal for him? Doesn't have to worry too much about defending just get down the wing and get the ball in.

Have we fallen that far that if we put a good shift in tomorrow against Huddersfield we might get something.

Yes I know that they are third, but. Huddersfield. It just makes me sad when a few years ago we were on the cusp if champions league football :- (.

I know what you mean mate but that's the new reality at the moment
We can wallow in self pity and sail down the divisions reminiscing about the glory days or we take the bull by the horns and crack on.

The only place amavi should be is leftback-leftback in the changing rooms is all he's good for now, since his injury he's been going missing in the tackling department, harsh to say maybe;but he's more a liabilty, good going forward, but going back, sad to say he's got a mental block, you might as well play him as a winger only now, a shame, but he ain't no full blooded defender now, sell him in the summer and re-invest, simple as.

We play to full potential we beat Huddersfield, no doubt.

Lets look at this logically. We won't make the play offs, we're pretty safe from relegation looking at the points required in previous seasons, so let's blood some of the youngsters and see how they go. You never know they may save a few million in the long run.

This season we've played 14 games with Chester and baker at the back and Jedinak in front of them, from them 14 we've won 9 and drew 5. That is the base of a championship winning team, keeping them fit for next season is crucial to us going up.

Even then some injuries are inevitable and Jedinak especially won't be able to play every game because of how the schedule is, Saturday - Tuesday, so if someone like Gardner can't step up and mouldy himself into that role then we need a back up option in the summer.

For someone who's 6 foot 3, Gardner (same height as Jedinak) he is no where near as much an aerial presence, good enough on the ball but needs to 'man-up' a bit - for lack of a better word.
