I wonder what are the odds of us going for john ruddy and micheal turner from norwich city, now they've both been released? might be worth a pay as you go contract?

All i'm saying fellas is john ruddy is an experienced, capped england goalkeeper, i think he'd be a good back-up to johnson (or whoever) if we get him, as for turner, bruce has managed him before and rated him the best in the country (in his opinion) at the time, he's 32 also, and he and bruce apparently operate on the same wavelength.
whether its just a 1 year pay as you go, who knows, but bruce has said in the past, if he was available he'd try and buy him again (while he was managing elsewhere obviously), so, do i think he's our long term answer, non, mon ami, but an experienced old head with a wealth of experience and good anticipation, not afraid to put himself about and an apparent leader and organiser, who could maybe marshal us at the back and help the younger players keep in check, maybe, and if we play him alongside chris samba, at least the lads will think they're on an episode of the Onedin Line (for those of us from an older generation! ) with all that creaking of joints, echoing that of a handmade wooden ship, and the smell of deep heat in the air, get in there!
