Rumours flying around that we are about to bid £10 million for Hernandez from hull which meets his buyout clause. Do we need another striker? Or should we invest in other areas of the team?

I think we need another striker and a quality midfielder so that we're not forced to play Westwood.

It's neither one or the other we need to do both
I would like another prolific striker so that we have a threat coming from more than 1 area. I'd also like a couple of creative midfield players and an attacking right-back
If we got all those and they were of similar quality to Mcormack, I'd make us certs for promotion.

OK, here come some relevant but complete-anorak statistics. Hernandez’s strike rate is around 37% - almost exactly the same as Gary Shaw’s. McCormacks strike rate is around 43%, almost exactly the same as Peter Withe’s. Ayew's, on the other hand, is only 25%. So a Hernandez/ McCormack strike-force in theory has legendary Villa potential.

We definately need another striker "god forbid but what would happen if Mcormack got injured! We need another 2 to be hobest, because flabby could be on his bike or training with reserves.

Jedinik at his best is a great buy. He seemed to go a bit quite though last season. Lots of effort and great runs. Wouldn't say no!
