Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish will enter the race to sign Man City winger Shaun Wright-Phillips as he looks to make further additions to his Villa Park squad, a bid will be in the region of 5m as Mcleish wants to strenghen his squad after assessing the ability and depth of the team and deciding to re-enter the transfer market

Lighten up my friend The last time I looked this was supposed to be a rumours site. The clue is in the address It is only meant to be a bit of fun and a light hearted way to express wish lists or vent anger not Sky Sports news (although they make up a fair bit too) Besides it could be worse....have you read the main site? Villa fans are no where near as bad as Leicester City, Liverpool, Stoke and Southampton fans to name a few

does anybody else not think that all this crap about the wage bill is taken a bit far. i mean scott parker i can understand as that would be an 8 million fee coupled with 70 k wage demands. But i read in the SUN today that were priced out of a move for barton cos of the wage demands. Im sorry but there is no transfer fee involved and he wants 70k a week. We did that with ireland when he was a makeweight in the milner deal so i just don't understand why we cant sign loan players or free players. Baffles me to be honest i mean what are mcleish and lerner expecting, players wont play for free for gods sake. Rant over. UTV
