just been told that rdm will go to old club and get Franco Di Santo. God I hope not. yes he has played in championship and prem but he's another gabby. hardly going to fire us back to premiership.

03 Jun 2016 22:49:39
I very much doubt it mate he must be knocking on now aswel have you ever noticed when a manager moves to a new club his link with nearly all his old playing staff. Who ever he gets as long and they work hard and try they will have my backing! Hard work over quality any day no point in having Talent if you don't work hard!

Loftus-cheek will be villas first signing of the summer.

03 Jun 2016 17:52:23
Cannot see it but would love it to be true.

03 Jun 2016 17:55:46
Would be a good loan signing to get us back up there but no chance of signing him from chelsea.

03 Jun 2016 18:12:26
not a chance in hell.

04 Jun 2016 08:36:15
Ha ha when Kingvilla is trashing your rumors you know you're talking rubbish.

03 Jun 2016 13:48:18
Presume Di Matteo appointment means all is expected to go through with the takeover.

03 Jun 2016 11:23:20
Anyone know why they haven't announced Steve Clarke as number 2 yet?

03 Jun 2016 11:57:52
still sorting his contract they have said. should be today still though.

03 Jun 2016 13:46:41
Hopefully.

steven taylor has turned down offer of a new deal at Newcastle and leaves on a free. 30 years old played in championship before English. I'd say worth a shot to go with Clark baker toner especially as okore may go and maybe even Clark. he's had a few injuries but on a free can't go wrong.

This is the guy that tried to tell the ref he chested the ball o the line when he went full length to save a certain goal.
A bit like Richards, awol when needed.

03 Jun 2016 14:20:57
I always thought he rolled around claiming it smacked him in the face, but for me not good enough, if we have got the money caulker is who we should look at.

03 Jun 2016 09:50:21
a few different papers are reporting Liverpool and a few other teams are sniffing round amavi. really hope we can keep this guy next season then if we failed to go up give him our grace to leave.

03 jun 2016 10:12:00
yes we would like to keep him but we are going to have this problem all our good players will want to leave and all the crap nobody will want. but if we are to stand any chance of going up most of our players have to stay because rich or not whos going to want to play fizzy pop football. with all the money we have its going to be hard to get prem players here you all want to pay 10 mill 4 ross mccormick his 30 4 god sake newcastle and norwich wont let there players go why should we? go an buy players like gayle ings barry redmond! sell your quality an kiss goodbye to promotion!

03 Jun 2016 10:51:53
everyone you said there are good shouts to be fare. I'd love redmond and Barry and have already said this in the past. in terms of mccormack yes I agree he is just 30 but 10 million if he scores 30 goals and gets us straight back is a snip. the guy is proven and a goal machine in this league so I still think he's worth it. I like nahki wells to. Davey selke is a guy I think would be a massive hit striker wise as well as a player from abroad. has all the right tools to boss teams in the championship. going back to first point though If you was to say you can keep 2 out of amavi traore ayew gana and vertout and the rest will leave and you can re invest the money I'd keep amavi and traore. ayew would score lots in championship but looking long term I think amavi and traore would be better players once back up in prem.

03 Jun 2016 11:22:24
Redmond never going to happen 1 blue nose, 2 Norwich are probably best equipped to go straight back up as their squad is almost the same as last time they did and 3 I've read everywhere Stoke Southampton and Everton want him.

03 Jun 2016 11:56:53
I agree I've stated before in old post would love him but don't think got a chance.

03 Jun 2016 16:50:47
Have read somewhere that they was on about loaning amavi out to a prem team unrill we are back? Not sure how true it is.!

03 Jun 2016 09:38:35
Now official Di Matteo has signed.
Liverpool among others after Amavi and we are willing to let him go for £10.8m.
Could we not try to keep him?

{Ed002's Note - Aston Villa's young left back Jordan Amavi has been attracting the attention of a number of sides including Milan, Monaco and Lyon. His agent has said that Liverpool have approached him to say that they are also interested.}
