Holt is worth about 3 million to most teams, but he is worth much more to Norwich....we would have needed 7-8 million to replace him......

Just been told Nathan Baker is going to be used as a makeweight in the deal for Nathaniel Clyne of Crystal palace.

I'm lead to believe baker will leave on a permanent deal rather than a loan deal

Paul Lambert must be told not to give interviews to people that bladder his intentions to all and sundry. You must be a very priviledged person to be in this close a contact with a man that has been manager of AVFC for such a short time.

I'm not friends with him, never said I was so don't jump too conclusions. All I did was post a rumour I heard from a friend of one of the youth coaches. I've no idea if it's true, but that's what I believe this site is about otherwise it wouldn't be called football-rumours.co.uk would it!

Any news on villa's coaching staff? {Ed043's Note - there hasnt been much out of villa on coaching staff however there has been many rumours that lambert wants to bring some of his former staff from norwich}

Norwich press confrence today announce Holt signed new 3 year deal and Culverhouse and Karsa new 3 year contracts aswell

Now Hughton has appointed his own staff Lamberts old team are available but I guess that some compo. might be needed to keep the Canaries chipper.

Villa will have to pay up for culverhouse and karsa although City want them to stay on and work with Hughtons team.

No Culverhouse and Karsa are staying as part of the extended training staff Hughton is said to be delighted to work with his old pal from Spurs meaning Culverhouse
