Mohamed Fofana, Robert Snodgrass, Dominic Maroh and Danny Guthrie - apparently all players Lambert has admired and seems likely to try to lure to Villa park according to various sources

The Sun are reporting that Lambert has left Norwich and Sky Sports breaking news is that his reresentatives will meet with Villa today.
Its on their websites.

Seems from the Norwich statement that they know that Lambert is Villa bound, just a case of how much compensation they are able to extract.
This will be a fantastic move by Lerner, Lambert plays attractive attacking football, just what you want to bring the crowds in.
Fingers crossed Lambert is our man

I would like to see him bring Grant Holt along for the ride.

I think Grant Holt would make an excellent partnership up front with Bent, and move Gabby back onto the wing. Finally positive news for the villa UTV

Gabby has had 2 awful seasons cant all be blamed on managers, its time for him to go

Gabby is the life blood of this club ans should bever be allowed to leave. I agree sometimes he is not at his best, but when he is on it he is frightening. More importantly though is his love for the Club which should not be undervalued

Gabby is lazy. He only played the last game of the season so he was not classed as injured and therefore does not have to come back from pre season early.

This has been denyed by Norwich. Must wait and see, but it does seem as though there is some meat on the bones of this story.

His resignation was denied by Norwich, not the story.
