Just read a story on another site that we are in pole position to sign Seydou Donmbia from Roma on loan with an option to buy at 10m euros at end of season. Anyone any idea about this story? He is apparently a striker with a good record.

hardly past it he's only 27 i think. damn quick and decent finisher of the ball. hardly best way of rating a player but he's one i buy a lot on footy manager, so would like to see hi in villa shirt.

We want a striker, let's go for Jordan Rhodes now his boro move is off. He deserves a chance and will bring goals next season.

Agree garde says he wants a striker. Rhodes would be a good fit. see what the board is really fit for! We're did Newcastle suddenly get all the cash!

Was just reading that Rhodes to Boro is off because he was asking for high end premier league wages 75-80k per week, we won't pay it. Although I think Rhodes would be a great addition, as well as many others from the championship who won't be promoted this year.

Sounds good oldvillan but it simply will not happen! I actually believe now that the Villa board have been told there will be no signings, and all this talk is exactly just that. Even the manager has been hoodwinked. shame on you Lener its absolutely disgusting.
