Sporting Lisbon striker Yannick Djalo has revealed he is joining Aston Villa on loan next month.
The Portugal international has posted a message on his Facebook page that states: 'I go to Aston Villa.'

The 25-year-old has barely played this season as a move to Nice on transfer deadline day was not ratified by Fifa as they said it was not completed in time.


Everton have also shown interest but Villa have put a deal in place. Villa manager Alex McLeish is also keen on Newcastle midfielder Danny Guthrie, who is set to leave in January.
The 24-year-old is frustrated at his lack of game time. Villa have also been monitoring Darron Gibson's return to fitness at Manchester United while Everton have asked to be kept informed about Marseille midfielder Lucho Gonzalez.
