So it's looking like we're going to have new owners soon and hopefully with deep pockets, who should/ could we buy? Take into consideration that we're now a championship side, financial fair play etc. and hopefully not buying players that we'd be trying to make a profit on ala Lerner logic. A few names from myself.

RB Tavernier Rangers
M Adam Stoke
ST Hemmings Dundee
ST Roofe Oxford
Maybe plunder some good loan players from the top 4 clubs, and there's probably room to buy a marquee player, a solid centre half or midfielder would be good, a leader

Some good suggestions there however I'd give steer a go he has had a very good season with Huddersfield.

Everyone keeps suggesting Charlie Adam why? Stoke fans dong want him and his performances this season have been very ordinary. We appear to have moved on one overweight has been why get in another one?

IMO Adam is a goal scoring midfielder with experience, something we lack, I'd even have a go for Walters from Stoke, I'm thinking Championship standard players here, and players that are gettable, not fantasy football players, that'll come if we go back up if we get big time investment.

I'd break bank for Heaton from. Burnley gk. Cb from Blackburn can't remember name though lb from Walsall Henry.

Going to need characters and players that won't shirk, as it will be tough to get out 1st time, the current crop would not cope, controversial I know but I'd go for Joey Barton to start the revolution, he would also have the backs of the younger players we may give game time to, i. e. Grealish, Green, Toner, etc.
Walters @stoke would be a good shout, as would Jedinak at Palace, as for a new Goalkeeper the kid Bentley @ Southend would be definitely worth a punt.
Then again I'm waiting for King Villa to confirm we have new owner, who is bringing in Pep as manager, along with Messi, Neymar, Suarez and that just for starters. over to you Kingy.

Barton would be a great signing, he's got his baggage but he won't stand for no crap, we've got too many lightweights in our squad, need a bit of fight in our team, for that reason I'd make Baker 1st choice CB, you got to say he puts his body on the line, wouldn't get found out for some of his errors in the Championship, maybe move Clark into midfield, not a world beater but has played there in the past
