rumour going round that Simon Grayson, apparently the entire squad have been informed, not too confident in this one, but its going round the mill
GO for Poyet
If bird brain Grayson comes in, I will burn my season ticket and replica shirt and send them back to VP
Classic "apparently the whole squad have been informed" yet grayson isn't even on the shortlist of managers.
This is pathetic the board can see what type of manager we want
OGS
POYET
PACIENCA
Even HUGHTON
Listen i posted this with the word apparently because i myself was skeptical so before you say it is 'classic' whatever that indeed means remember he has just won promotion for a third time a deserves some credibility, remember it is a RUMOUR site so don't judge don't take it to heart but if you do at least you have your shortlist ;)
Here's an off the wall suggestion for you guys.
You should look at Paulo Sergio who has just left Hearts.
He's a great tactician, great man manager and his PR is very good.
What he achieved at Hearts in less than one season is a miracle considering the chaos that habitually ensues at our club.
Jambo
OGC doesnt want the job, nor does Palencia and Poyet is apparently not keen either.
Facts are: we can only have a manager who wants to come to Villa Park.
Pointless the fans demanding individuals if those individuals don't want the job.
Forget about "shortlist". We know for a fact that PF spoke with McCarthy, so we can suspect that there isnt a shortlist, rather the club looking at all options
PF never spoke to McCarthy and Pacienca does what the job and Poyet hasn't been asked about the job i don't know where you have you info but it's wrong
Sadly for you, it is you who is wrong.
Faulkner did speak with McCarthy when MM was in Florida. It has been confirmed. What is not confirmed is exactly what they spoke about. It is suspected that PF asked MM's opinion but it is also suspected that MM was a contender for the Director of Football appointment. The club has openly ruled out a DoF but club statements are not delivered under oath. There is plenty of evidence that Lerner would be interested in a DoF.
Palencia does not want the job. He is on record as saying that, albeit his statement implied he might consider an offer if one was made formally.
Poyet has hedged his bets and has not been approached but has indicated that he does not want to leave just yet.
You need to seperate reality from your preferences. You are being subjective and placing your own beliefs in front of evidence
