Strange as villa park and surrounding roads closed due to Take That concert. And entrance closed. Been so all day. Also all business is done at bodymoor Heath not villa park.

I think one of the roadies may have given you his signature. I would keep it. Must be worth at least 2p

I have it from a very reliable source within the club that Aston Villa have agreed to sell Stuart Downing to Liverpool for a fee in the region of 18 million. This deal has been sanctioned as the club have agreed a fee with Wigan for Charles N'Zogbia of aroung 8 million.
My source has also told me that contact has been made for both Shay Given and Ben Foster. Alex Mcleish wants Ben Foster but has been quoted 9 million which he is unwilling to pay. They are still waiting to here back from Manchester City about a fee before they make a decision.
