I can't see Jack leaving Villa, especially to Boro or the likes of, even if they doubled his wages. He will flourish with our new midfield, give it to him in the final 3rd, not expect him to track back so much = get the best out of the most talented young player we've ever had come through imo?

On the money Allyp1972 - only trouble is his agent will be thinking of all the money, and if your jack, as a very young player, how will he react to the manager seeing him as surplus.

i just hope he stays, because he might go on to flourish and get better. same kind of thing with ronaldo; first season at united not consistent and selfish, but with fergie to guide him, stellar career, and thats what i reckon will happen here.

Hope your right chris, it amazes me how we offer rhm the highest ever salary for an academy graduate, but when grealish got his chance he had the class and confidence to look like he'd been a first teamer for ages, yes he's inconsistent, but i can't remember any teenage player being the finished article when they made the move up.

bruce will get him into shape, he just needs to realise he can't be one of the lads, and looking after his body now will prolong his career, once that sinks in he'll pull his tail in and knuckle down, and we all benefit.

You mean the one that says 75%- (75%+X)? I would assume that means there is a 75% chance of us getting an incomer with an associated outgoer plus some cash. So Rhodes for Grealish plus some cash.

But on the other hand if he is not in Steve Bruce's plans then there may be some truth in it but i would only see this happening if there is a quality player out there who Steve would prefer more than Jack.

Maybe this is one of the 50% leaves Dr Xia is referring to. Get someone in who contributes every game not just when he feels like it. He's a liability on and off the pitch.

Just heard it as well, weird one to say the least! Don't think it will happen, Bruce rates him, very good option off the bench, undoubtedly talented and Boro really? Maybe if it was Saints or Everton but Boro aren't going to tempt a Villa fan away from their club when they'll most likely be in this league next year!

Grealish shouldn't be sold for any less than £20 million! In a good team the kid would be a star albeit a little inconsistent. Anyway it won't happen because he won't go. Villa "even in the Championship" or Boro? It's a no brainer especially for a young Villa fan! Chances of it happening .30%

Sell him. Overrated, trouble off the pitch and just not consistent enough. Take a good offer and get a creative player in who performs week in week out.

Villa rate Grealish at £20m so it would be Rhodes and cash.

Take the money and Rhodes. Grealish can be class but too often is anonymous. He wouldn't get away with his off field antics at another club (which he doesn't support) .

If he is to go we need to milk the transfer for every penny we can get. Young, English, has the potential if he gets his head down. We should easily be able to get £30 million out of him if Sterling and Stones are worth £50 million. Personally I would hang on to him and see how he performs now Bruce has toughened the midfield. Would be nice to see him get a run of games as a number 10 behind Kodjia now we have Lansbury and Hourihane running the midfield rather than being stuck out wide (which he doesn't really have the pace for) .
