Lyon have confirmed they have received 3 bids for Gomis, are we one of them? Would be an amazing signing, just image benteke and gomis-scare all the defences

We are intrested but have yet to place a bid

Gomis, Weimann, Gabby, Tekkers, Helenius - as amazing as that would be, doubt Gomis would want to be a bench boy a bit.

Villa should try and hijack cardiffs bid for etienne capoue, he would be a gem in the villa team

Would hate to see us waste money on another striker we need to think defensive or creative not another big centre forward

Sylla or Capoue it would end up on a match day & I think Sylla would play in all honesty infront of him!

Hopefully its not Lyons Gomis we'r looking at but their dmc fofana who would cost around 5m.

Azza glad you agree! My estimation of the player might be off 1 or 2 mill but he's an absolute beast of a player, can tackle, pass, high stamina and is young too. Reminds me of viera.

Remember Fofana had a good game against spurs but forgot about him, if we pick him up that would be some good business

We nearly had him in 2011 under houiller but the deal fell through medical reasons I think

I was going to say that, I remember we didn't move for him because he wanted money and we already had a host of lads, Hogg, herd, bannan, Delph, gards, johnson, who were breaking through and needed games. I always thought we didn't go for him because we already had players who were his age in his position. Still I'd take him now because Hogg went and bannan will hopefully find a new job. Good link

Also still failing to get hutton out on loan. couldn't get a deal done with almeria in spain. they probably didn't fancy payin his unjustifiable wage. when ARE we going to get these wasters (ireland, bannan, hutton, etc. ) OUT of VP? needs to be soon or we can kiss goodbye to anymore potential incoming players.

To the guy on about cardiff, what do you want us to do? Buy expensive players on high wages like QPR, because that clearly works so well. What we're doing is in my eyes so much better than paying £15m for average players. Take bent for example, we got 5/6 very good players last summer for the same amount of money we spent on bent? Who you rather have in your team, lowton, westwood, benteke and sylla or darren bent? If you're unwilling to wait a few years for success then find another team to support!

Regarding, Hutton I know a deal has been agreed with mallorca but its his agent making the deal stall and making a better pay out for them both. Either way he's definetly on his bike

Baggies won't go down, I hate to admit it but I think they'll have a good season! Sunderland to go down for me f**k paolo di caniooo!

I think stoke will go down they have been awful for a long long time now hate watching them play and if it wasnt for begovic huth and shawcross they woulda gone down a couple of seasons back because the rest of their team is terrible. palace, stoke and either hull or sunderland will be relegated I think
