Sky bet have slashed us to 2nd favourite to sign Rhodes, would prefer this to valencia championship experience and knows where the goal is.

Rhodes is an excellent goalscorer particularly at this level, however, I am not sure what else he brings to the team. Similar type to Darren Bent and I am not sure if we can afford to carry a player like this.

For me i would bang in £12 million to Huddersfield for Wells
He has speed, can finish but also creat goals all of which we are looking for.

Be interesting to see if Valencia is a swap deal for ayew.
I think the main target is Hernandez though.
Villa had a firm interest in seb Haller from 'my source' but it looks like Sunderland are in pole position for his signature now.

Sounds like they did well however we are not Blackburn and we don't need to try to turn the clock back because it rarely works, there would have been a number of other factors in that team!

I agree devlins, but strikers need to have an understanding with the players around them, yes this needs to be worked on in training, that can take a while, my point that he knows ruddy from club career, and Ross from Scotland, says a lot of that is already there, and just maybe we could hit the ground running and he wouldn't need time to settle!
