Villa planning a double swoop for Sinclair and Lescott for 8m

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Where you getting that 8 million from when where in the championship?

Agree2 Disagree6

Parachute Payments o:)

Agree1 Disagree5

Sinclair cost 6.5 mill and Lescott was brought for 16 mill. No way will Man City let them BOTH leave for 8 mill!

Agree3 Disagree2

Well, Lescott' s supposedly going for 4m, and Sinclair can't be worth more than 6 so maybe 10m is the max we would pay for both

News coming from villa park that one of our players will be making the trip to norwich, however its not weimann, sources can confirm that norwich have made an enquiry for barry bannan and are willing to pay up to £9m for his services

Believable2 Unbelievable12

They can have him for 9 million! VTID

Agree14 Disagree1

Did you read it correctly?
Have you put an additional nought on the valuation?
Mendax

Agree6 Disagree1

Crap for 9m I will drive him there free of charge

Agree11 Disagree1

. mate but I think you have crossed wires, norwich won't pay 1million for that class of player

Agree6 Disagree5

Sarcasm doesn't really come off over the internet, its more believable than half of the rubbish norwich fans make up though!

Agree10 Disagree1

9m is bannans registered worth as forrest were told they had to pay 9m to get him in january

Agree2 Disagree6

I can only assume you mean 9 million pence?

Agree5 Disagree1

Norwich fan here. Aaaaaaa! Honestly wouldn't have him for half a million. Light weight in midfield and doesn't do much. Whoever posted this rumour. Leave it out!

Agree3 Disagree2

BB is improving vastly recently as he's cut out his Hollywood passing techniques. Same with Delph really, get a lot of criticism but aren't actually too bad players!

Agree4 Disagree3

Norwich Fan here, Can't see Norwich or Villa doing any kind of deals as long as Lambert is in charge, No not bitter but the man has shot his lot with McNally, who is as hard as nails when it comes to bearing grudges

Agree0 Disagree4

Norwich fan here - Bannan is a decent player but too much of a drama queen for Hughton. For 9 mill I would be embarrassed if we got him!

Agree1 Disagree2

Bannan is shocking defensively but give him a couple of years and he'll be running the shop attacking wise

Agree0 Disagree3

I think i'd have a leavining do if he left for that, he's worth about 1.2 million poun. pence

Possible ins in summer:

Lescott £4 mil
Haangaland free
Flamini free
Nathan dyer £5 mil
Saviola £3 mil

Believable6 Unbelievable11

Too old,, too old,, too old,, not good enough,, too old.

Agree11 Disagree3

Lescot and hangland to old and not good enough

erh ok 1 is a england regular in defence and the other has been 1 of the highest rated defenders in the prem for the last 5 years and both very capable the only question is can we afford them

Agree9 Disagree3

But there too old! Yes he may have been regarded as one if the best defenders in the bpl in the last 5 years but I doubt he'll have the same honour in the next 5 at all

Agree5 Disagree1

I would only want lescott. Hangeland is to slow now and is injury prone.

Agree3 Disagree1

Hangeland is a free transfer in the summer

With Weimnan's agent stating he may leave in the summer with Liverpool and borussia dortmund being the latest teams interested in him

Aston Villa are lining up a summer move for Celtic striker Gary Hooper, according to reports.

The Sunday People claims Villa are looking to capitalise on the Englishman's contract situation by making a bid in the off-season.

Hooper has been a regular scorer for the Bhoys since joining from Scunthorpe United in 2010, netting 77 times in 129 appearances. {Ed002's Note - You can add interest from Inter Milan who see him as a cheaper alternative to their planned loan-to-buy deal for Sanchez. Aston Villa will continue to seek a new deal.}

Andi will be at Villa Park next season.
Him & Benteke will become stars at Villa & will leave next summer if we don't finish in a European place.
