The guy from Oz didn't read the post properly before posting his response then! And with regards belhanda the club have agreed terms with what the player wants in terms of wages etc but are waiting to complete the deal. Mark my words this will happen!

Well and truly

According to the Birmingham mail pl is not interested in belhanda what a shame if true

Agree3 Disagree5

Lambert has just come out and stated that he "isnt interested in Belhanda".

Agree3 Disagree8

Lambert said he wasn't interested in Dempsey last summer! Villa made a bid for him on deadline day.

Not coming? I am crying :- (

I so wanted a magic man

Agree7 Disagree0

Don't no where the brum mail is getting this from its just what they think as there is no quotes from pl about the player. yet at the wknd belhanda said my club wants 12.8m most clubs can't pay that, England is my preferred choice but if they can't agree a price I won't go there well we are the only team from England who are in for him so I would go with the quotes from belhanda himself and say we are still in for him

Agree7 Disagree2

Obviously you don't understand sarcasm. Nobody will come in until, at least, bent is sold. Villa's next signing won't be for another month and it will be someone that hasn't been mentioned on here.

Younes Belhanda deal update! We are waiting to move on some high earners like bent and given before completing this deal! I know this from meeting Paul Faulkner at ascot last Wednesday! He didn't go into too much detail but it was pretty clear to make out his "wait and see" comment when I quizzed him on it. Another clear message was the support from Randy with financial big deals will always be there as long as the manager wants the player and there is sell on potential at later ages! This was Paul's response to buying someone like Wanyama!!

Believable8 Unbelievable11

Thanks for the update but you would have to be fairly stupid to think that villa will sign another player before the high earners are gone. I know that and i'm all the way from australia!

Agree4 Disagree5

I would love this to be true but I just can't see us pulling this one off as he is an exceptional player and in my opinion I think a top club will come in for him! On another note I heard through the grapevine that we are interested in signing malouda on a free transfer as long he don't ask for silly money! I think he would be a good addition add a bit of experience! VTID SOTC!

Agree5 Disagree7

I so want to believe this! But I just can't!

Agree6 Disagree1

I am shocked that Paul Faulkner didn't go into too much detail with some fan he just met on a day out. Surprised he didn't give you the full 20 year plan. This is nonsense.

Agree7 Disagree4

Malouda? Isn't he 32, an played no top flight football in 12 months?
Won't happen! An honestly if we did sign him I'd lose respect for PL

Get a grip man!
You forget that Lambert was an attacking midfielder before becoming the enforcer. If he doesn't know this position of all positions we are in deep do do.

If he sees something in Malouda then we have to trust him as he has definitely forgotten more than we know.

Agree4 Disagree6

Why wouldn't u sign malouda? If we get him an he is willing to accept a fair wage then I would sign him! I'm not saying he would be a guaranteed starting 11 player but its a long old season and we need as much experience and as many numbers as we can get! Belhanda also is a must! {Ed030's Note - There is a signing on fee,Agent fees there is much more than wages mate,Fair point though would be a decent player for Villa.

Agree5 Disagree5

Why wouldn't I sign Malouda?

1st> he's 33yo not 32yo like I thought

2nd> he hasn't played a top flight game in more than 12 months

3rd> when he did play games a couple seasons back for Chelsea I thought he was poor

4th> will he get ahead of Gabby, Weimann? I don't think so, then there's Tonev, Albrighton and Bacuna who will probably play as a wide men aswell.

5th reason why I wouldn't sign Malouda, I just don't think we'd get anythin out of him, pointless signing IMO
