We played some great stuff at times last night but I have to say when Albert went off we lost our shape green done himself no favours.

Keeper done alright but he looks a little nervous which can be expected.
Jedi is no central defender.
Whelan was top class dare I say it nearly every pass he made went forward.
Elemo just ain't doing it he is a squad player.
Overall it was a good point and still unbeaten.

Maupay 3 game ban but they can't alter the result.
Second time we have been shafted by inefficient ref.
Who was the guy who got away with a similar act on Grealish at Weobley?
Score could have been different.
Can't the ref etc be sued for being useless?
Sue them for the loss of £160m which ended up creating our money problems during the summer.
Any barrack room lawyers out there?

With all due respect Oldvillan, the ref was/ is not the cause of our money problems.
That honour is placed firmly at the Doctors feet, no question.

Retrospective action may not help the result but a good way to look at it is that a potential rival are now missing their main goalscorer for 3 matches.

Hoping that later today the Yannick Bolasie deal becomes official along with at least some progress on Tammy Abraham deal. Hopefully Bruce can get a couple more before the deadline then we will be a strong outfit for sure.

I will be hoping for some defensive additions if I'm honest,
I will be very happy if we bring in a l/ back and c/ back.
Can't complain about the attacking additions that's for sure.

I would prefer a LB and a CB over Tammy Abraham - Kodjia looks like he is back to his best so would he start ahead of him, I can't see it.

We are short up front at the moment but I believe El Ghazi has played in the central striker role before and surely Hogan and Davies can't be that far off from full fitness.

I'd much prefer us sign Matt Targett and a CB.

Do we all think the signing of Bolaise and El Ghazi will resolve our defensive issues in an odd way? Surely Elmo / Hutton will revert to RB, Axel to CB with Chester and fingers crossed Targett at LB?

Absolutely, a LB and CB are required at this stage. To get Tammy Abraham as well would be greedy wouldn't it?

I don't think we need a new LB as Hutton is great there. Elmo can revert to right back and Axel needs to move to the centre. Another reliable centre back is needed though.

Kodjia does appear to be getting back to his best I must agree, but Abraham or another quality striker is essential also, given the injury problems we have. We don't want to become a one trick pony.

We bossed much of the game last night and if we were a bit more cut throat up front then this game would of been well out of reach for Brenford long before their second goal.

Also, and this would apply to bolaise, isn’t the. African cup of nations this year? So we may lose Kodja, Elmo during some of dec (not forgetting Kodja breaking his ankle again)

Assuming we get Bolasie, I think I'm right in saying we can only sign one more loan player as the limit is five. So it'll be either a striker OR a defender, not both - assuming we don't get a free permanent transfer that is.

Has anybody signed Huth, I can't believe nobody has snapped him up on a one year contract - Its not the approach the club want to take but may be worth a gamble before the window shuts.

I think you can sign 8 loan players DJC1983 but only select 5 including subs for any one match.
