Come january, what top midfielder will come to us with 3 attacking players off on a shindig, maybe a new manager installed, and playing in a league where technical ability is secondary to graft and putting yourself about.
so let's not kid ourselves, they'll either be a player who has had a bust up and ain't being picked, coming back from a big injury and wants game time, is near the end of their career and wants that 1 final big pay day, or quite simply is a mercenary, and the player will want shed loads of money to come to us (as probably will their club).
now this could happen if we're prepared to pay over the odds, but the good doctor has already said that the days of us being fleeced are over. i just hope rdm can persuade him into loosening the purse strings.

Tom huddlestone for the mid, someone like Gary Hopper if things aren't going sheffields way.

If, come January we look like promotion candidates then there will be plenty of good midfielders willing to join our club.
If, come January we are in the doldrums then persuading good players to join will be very difficult indeed.
So, until then we have to hope that Jedinak and Tshibola stay clear of injury and that, if picked Landcrab Westwood actually plays a forward killer pass.
