We're apparently in for Vidic. Not sure if I'm allowed to mention what website I saw it on but it says that he has offers from the U. S. But the idea of a 6 month premier deal would suit him.

He was looking slow and well past his best in a United side 18 months ago. What will he look like in our back 4?

Not sure what the benefit in signing Vidic would be, might as well play Senderos? Sure Vidic has bags of experience but not of a relegation scrap. And also the entire time he spent in the premiership he had the luxury of constantly fouling and getting away with it because he played for Man U, even if he wasn't slow, injury prone, past it and on top money, he'd get sent off most weeks.

Like the look of Christian Santos at less than £300K from NEC in Holland. Tbh, it would take Aguero and Kane at £100M+ to guarantee the goals we're going to need to stay up, then they'd need better service than we're capable of. Let's get ready for a season in The Championship where we should romp it, blood some of the kids, get behind Remi, we'd probs get the pick of any Arsenal kids on loan etc. When we went down the last time, that season in the old Division 2 was some of the best times being a Villa fan, it's not all that bad, would win more often than not, don't think the crowds would be that low, would suck to go down because of the money and the noses giving us stick, but really that money would go straight into players pockets and beatin the nose home and away would be sweet 👍🏻

Love to see Jordan Rhodes! I think at worst, if we do go down, we'd have a striker used to playing in that division. Plus, we could see more out of gestede as they had a good partnership for an average team at Blackburn.

Yes I agree Mendax, Kemar Roofe is his name and Ed has said he really looks a good prospect.
Would do a job for us at his current standard, seems to have it all in terms of ability.
We need a striker or two for sure, what the hell are we playing at.

I think even if Randy suddenly found 50m from somewhere to hand over he would still be far from a hero in my eyes. I really don't think there is any point going for broke this window, but must admit I am still disappointed by how we have acted in this window, not sure why as It's how we act in most transfer windows. Never forget 2 years ago when we were in the mire we signed Sylla and Simon Dawkins on loan.
