Apparently, Darren Bent might not join Newcastle due to the uncertainty concerning Alan Pardew.

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Meh, information from a red top is almost always a lie!

bannan delfouneso and stevens all transfer listed today as part of the overhaul. hopefully we get them out soon as possible so we can crack on and grab a couple more players ourselves.

Believable9 Unbelievable0

The problem is that transfer listing them and getting someone to take them away is a world of difference.
Wouldn't it be a better idea to just pay up their contracts and let them go?
They can't be earning that much a week.

Agree1 Disagree5

They're earning a lot more than what their contribution to the team is worth.

Agree8 Disagree0

All three of them had an enquiries made about them & a bids have come in for Bannan & Fonz if what I am getting from some sources is correct.

Agree1 Disagree4

I really hope these 3 players don't read these posts, because quite frankly, they are disrespectful to them. As we know Fonz & Bannan came through the youth & academy system and have made international appearances and Stevens was bought cheaply and played U21 for Ireland. They have been good squad players, just because PL has decided let them go doesn't mean there bad players. 2 years ago we were all singing there praises "the future of youth" remember that? I'm sure all 3 will have fantastic careers as footballers, I for one wish them luck and thank them.

Agree7 Disagree3

Fonz is awful and on nearly 20k a week. Good riddance!

Agree2 Disagree0

Around 6k a week actually, that's typical slate the player & get the facts wrong.

The Belhanda saga is over and his not at Villa FC. N:B PL never claimed an interest!

Sources seems to imply that Villa's missing piece is the coveted No10 role ala our own Mata/Silva.

It will be one from these three BUT WHO! only PL could answer that question as the rest would just be speculation 1) Nacer Chadli 2) Victor Wanyama 3) Hiroshi Kiyotake.

In order of Preference. Kiyotake, Chadli, Wanyama

Believable7 Unbelievable7

Wanayama is a def mid fielder

Agree11 Disagree4

I think wanyama would be my preferred choice but that's only if benteke is still a villa player by then otherwise I'd choose a player with more creative flair.

Agree7 Disagree1

Wanyama isn't a number 10 haha

Agree12 Disagree0

Wanayama I a defensive midfeilder

Supposed Villa target Ba could allegedly be bought from Porto for a little as £2.5m.
If this is the case could the same AVFC negotiation team, last seen on a plane from France, jump on another plane, this time to Portugal and earn their money this time, if this price is correct, the lad's an absolute bargain. Please hurry as offer won't last for long.

Agree5 Disagree1

Any news on Steer signing today?

Agree2 Disagree0

Aston Villa and Premier League rivals Stoke have been linked with a £2.5million move for Senegal defender Abdoulaye Ba, 22, who plays for Portuguese giants Porto.

Aston Villa could face competition from top-flight compatriots Swansea to land £8.5million-rated Twente forward Nacer Chadli, after the Swans dropped their interest in Wilfried Bony.

Agree5 Disagree0

The 2 players being looked are ba and chadli either would be excellent but for 2.5mil ba would be a steal but he is being linked with both Milan clubs and galatasary so it's not looking promising
