Mr Villa Gabby Agbonlagor has been omitted from the Villa squad against Chelsea. Well, aren't we Villa fans sad (! ) I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm doing cartwheels at the moment!

I made a very similar comment to this on a fb post on this topic and got torrents of abuse from, what I can only imagine is a fellow villa fan! I think it was abuse, a lot of his "words" did not resemble anything in the English language but I got the feeling he was not happy for me to say such things. Guess we are not allowed to voice our opinion on a social media service now. Thank god for the sanctuary of the forum.

I get what you're saying, cpmm. I see lots of fans comment things like 'your our best player' and 'why won't they play you'. It's fans like this who let players think they can get away with the half-hearted attempts they've been given this season. These players have big enough egos as it is, we shouldn't add to it. I'm not saying we shouldn't praise players, but these players don't deserve it.

Let's be honest those players have let the club down let the fans down but most of all they have let themselves down, these overpaid mercenaries should be ashamed of themselves. Aston villa have paid them good wages for what week after week of absolute dross they have embarrassed us no end turned us into a laughing stock probably the worst team in premiership history, and they think it's acceptable well I'm not afraid go name and Shane them joleon lescott Brad Guzan micah Richards Gabriel agbonlahor Mr bacuna I just hope that at the end of the season you are all shown the door and we can get players who will give 100% for my beloved club.

He has been beyond useless recently but it really hurts to hate him just cause of all the times he stuck it to them.
