Now for some proper transfer specualtion. .We know Villa have signed Makoun and Walker have signed. Bent will soon follow in the next couple of days. I still expect to see a few more new faces at Villa Park before the end of the window. Firstly lets make it clear that Villa will not be signing Benzema, Klose etc. .it simply won't happen.

We are pretty sound in goal, nothing will happen until summer for that, at which point the targets will be McGregor, Weidenfeller and possibly Kucszack depending on what the situatuion at Old Trafford is. We will keep Guzan on and will use him in Cup ties with possibly the odd appearence in the league.

In defense there will be some changes, Warnock's situatuion isn't clear, we will have to wait and see about that one. .but regardless Figueroa will be signed to give us a bit more stability as well as attacking support as our goal scoring record this season has been awful. Enric Spahic will also be signed as Houlier will be staying on, he is a quality central defender. He will Davies replacement in the side. Samba has an outside shot at being signed but its unlikely after he was slapped with a £10 million price tag. We don't have that much to spend on one player after we have signed Bent. RB is sorted.

In midfield there won't be too many more significant changes, we know that Makoun has signed, he will give us a good bite in the center of the park. Adam will join him for a fee close to the £5 million mark. Reo-coker may move on but Petrov will stay as well Ireland who is coming back to fitness. In the wide areas little will happen until the summer, Sessegnon or N'Zogbia will most likely arrive. Young will not leave the club as Houlier will be rebuilding the squad. Downing will stay put also (heaven forbid if either of those two left) All other defensive midfielder rumours such as Van Bommel and Sissoko will no longer mean anything as they will not sign for us now. Seb Larsson will also sign, for around the £5 million mark, this would be a cheeky signing of Houllier, strengthening our team whilst weakening Birmingham.

Up top we will have Bent in the coming days, with the probable signing of Cummings until March with a view to a possible permanent transfer after the loan spell if he performs well. Carew will stay, he is arguably our best striker and Houllier can recognise that.

Beye will move on like Sidwell has, Salifou's spell has come to its end, he will move to a lower league or different country. Davies will also move on thankfully. Osbourne will also mvoe on.

My dad is best friends with stewart downings dad, and he is on his way to everton- as part of a swap deal with steven pienaar.more possible transfers into villa are :

samba- 3 million
larsson- 6 million
cummings- 1 million
bent- 16 million
phil neville- 3.5 million

Larsson for £6m, Blue noses accepted a bid of £1m from Newcastle, but they could not agree personal terms, We have 2 right backs in the squad already and one just in on loan.

Pienarr contract is coming to an end and Everton are skint so how are they making up the other 7-10m

Have heard from a good source, as everyone has, but please read as this is a genuine source with very good info:
Bent will come to villa with Ireland and 6mill going the other way, also part of this deal is downing to sunderland in the summer for 8mill to be relaced with n zogbia. .
all true, hollier to stay, villa willl start to rise.
Ash young staying as been promised the captains armband.
