As long as he's not as of a liability as Bennett

I think having another left back might just push Bennett on to better things even if Luna doesn't play.

It seems PL has faith in Bennett, hopefully this will spur him on, I hope all the supporters get behind him rather than on his back this season, he's just a kid, actually they all are!

Reports are surfacing that Paul Lambert and Aston Villa will continue their torrid start to the transfer window by adding Antonio Luna of Sevilla for a fee of £2,000,000.
Lambert seems intent on netting his transfer targets within a very short window, surely to allow a full preseason with a young promising side that, with this latest signing, Luna, seems to have healthy competition at every position heading into July.
Lambert, just starting his second season with Villa, is proving diligent in the transfer market with already a hand full of potential stars unearthed last season, including Christian Benteke, Matthew Lowton, Ashley Westwood, Yacouba Sylla and club captain, Ron Vlaar.
Villa fans may be reasonably content with the intent shown by Lambert so early in the offseason, and the support offered by owner Randy Lerner as the club looks to carry on momentum from an impressive finish to the 2012/13 season

Sevilla and Aston Villa have reached agreement for the transfer of Antonio Luna left, player last season on loan at Mallorca and for the English club paid two million euros, as reported by the negotiation. The agreement is total between the three parties and will be formalized in the next few hours, as it becomes completed processing the signature. Moon, 22, and internationally with Spain at youth level, will sign a three-year contract with the Birmingham club, for which receive about 1.7 million. Antonio Luna debuted with Sevilla’s first team at the end of the 2009-10 season, where they won the Copa del Rey to be a starter in the final against Atletico Madrid, and has served two assignments, the aforementioned in the previous Mallorca and Almeria.

He was loaned to Mallorca, the team Hutton was also on loan to and they got relegated. This guy hasn't had much action for Sevilla either, so I'm not sure about him but I've never seen him play, he's still young, it's a cheap enough fee and I have faith in Lambert's signings. UTV

Not the greatest fan of luna, struggled to even get into relegated mallorcas starting 11 last season but either way will provide healthy competition at LB. I knew we were looking at one player from mallorca last season but thought it was the defensive midfielder Pina so this deal looks pretty dead.
