Can't see it happening. After Helenius signs there'll most likely be only 1 more signing and that would have to be a left back. Unless Lambert has faith in Bennett. I could be wrong though there's a long time left, and a good few players to get rid of. Hopefully I'm wrong and we bring a few more faces in.

Rumours suggest that two more (inc Helenius) expected in next two weeks and then PL to review end of July presumably if and when we have cleared the decks.

Lambert will sign Helenius & 1 other & then focus on shipping out the dead wood. Then finding more new recruits to replace the dead wood.

As much as I think we all hate Ireland for his laziness, lack of professionalism and arrogance, he was and still could be a class player! Plus he had a very good second season for us before the last season, Fans Player of The Year I believe, we gave him that, no one else!

He received fans player of the year after only starting 12 games, shows how bad of a season we had, need to get Ireland of the wage bill as soon as possible. No point having someone who doesn't even make the bench on a high wage

His ego is bigger than his national team, to be a top player you have to be a professional and a role model. But somebody who has had one decent performance away to Chelsea under McLeish and refuses to play for his country. I'd gladly sell him if I was Paul Lambert.
