Very much doubt it when lerner is giving pl the go ahead to turn us into norwich

Agree15 Disagree8

What a Leave Leicester top of the league what utter rubbish. UTV

Lacina traore is going to west ham on loan. Why didn't we sign him not holt ergggh. Personally I think Lerner should cough up 10 m for ravel Morrison. It's not like he's near the end of his career and won't be sold on for loads when he wants to leave

Agree4 Disagree10

Traore is on stupid money.
West Ham will go the way of portmouth if they get relegated.
So want that to happen

Agree13 Disagree4

With the money Monaco have I don't think they will care if we pay all his wages or not

Italian Media are saying Klose is a target

Believable4 Unbelievable19

All this talk of new forwards is a bit silly. We have enough good strikers but they need the service or they are not going to score goals. Our midfield is arguably the worst and weakest in the Premiership and THERE is where we need to be strengthening. Surely Lambert can see that. I even think the defence is good enough now as they are only conceding an average of around one goal a game this season which is far better than last seasons disasters but that midfield is just not good enough and we are going nowhere until that is rectified.

Miroslav Klose --How much would he cost us in transfer fee and wages for goodness sake?
Would love to see him here but its never going to happen.

Agree13 Disagree2

He wouldn' t cost much but won't happen as Holt has signed, it's a shame as klose even at his age is still class

Agree5 Disagree5

The Gooners showed us what a good pair of centre backs can do.
Big ben had chances up front and put one away but Gooners had 2 chances and put them away. don't you think that the centre backs should have done better?

Carrie blue defence is ok seriously what planet are you on

Agree5 Disagree8

I'm sorry but we do need a new cb, vlaar is by far our best defender, but Clark is complacent and baker is brave but weak, okore won't be fit till April and even then it's a risk, we need experience back there not the young lad we have been linked with from Leicester

Agree7 Disagree4

Hi Carrie blue, We said that last year then shipped around 15 goals in no time at all.
Most of the time opposition strikers are in so much space that they can't believe the game is for real.
The back is like a leaky can.
How many times in the first few minutes last night did Giroud get a free header? Should have scored two well before they finally scored.
Baker is just ok, Clark is a liability but Vlaar plays out of his skin.
What planet am I on?
Reallity my son.
OK is not good enough for the prem. How many have we conceeded this season? You tell me.

Agree10 Disagree1

Old Villan. We have conceded 27 goals in 21 games which is better than over half of the Premiership so far this season, in fact it is the equal 8th best in the division which really isn't bad. If the defence wasn't put under so much constant pressure by a weak and inadequate midfield who cannot keep hold of the ball when it is cleared to them, the defence would cope far better but as it stands they get no respite and that doesn't help. A central defensive partnership of a fully fit Vlaar and Okore next season and you will see what I mean.

Villa just need our own answer to Mathieu Flamini and a CAM. I'm sure Lambert will bring one in, but he's taking his time for sure!

Agree11 Disagree4

Now you are listing Okore that is a different matter. He is far better than either Baker or Clark. Such a shame that we can't get him back before late March.

Agree11 Disagree1

Clarrie Blue - there is not much the midfield can do about the ball flying over their head for the majority of the game, and unless they stand on Benteke's toes they are not going to pick up the second ball. The goal against Arsenal proved that once we get the ball down and play a bit and put quality into the box we can create but pumping it long every 2 mins is the problem and not really the fault of the midfield

Agree3 Disagree1

Our midfield worst in the prem they have one thing in common work rate that's it not a football brain between then villajk
