Alan Hutton is set to have is contract terminated from the club, the scot doesn't feature in Lambert's plans.

Why would we let him go for free (terminating his contract) when we can get a bit of money for him??

I know alan hutton is useless but his still got a £ sign above his head we could get 3-4m easy why cancel his contact and lose money
We only signed him for 2! He hasn't exactly put the performances in to double his price tag... Anything for him would be good. Just so we don't have to give him compensation.

Would like to see Villa trying for Jonas Olsson, especially as the reports indicate Spurs are after him on the cheap. He's a 100% player, committed, a decent defender and has the ability to score goals from set plays (& don't we need one of those !) Just what we need a experienced CB
He also players for one of our biggest rivals so they wouldn't sell him on the cheap to us
