This could be a very solid dynamic Aston Villa side...When Warnock & Hutton leave then
Moussa Konate & Dembelle in to Villa for £10mil. Maybe even Cresswell.

If Dembelle if too much of a long shot to all those that know better, then securing the other two for £6mil is still good business. Go PL, Go Villa!

Believable1 Unbelievable5

We won't get Dembele be realistic mate

Agree7 Disagree0

Not for 4 mill anyway. Madrid are after him if modric doesnt go.

Agree4 Disagree1

This means you think we'd get dembele for 4 million fulham signed him for 5 million and they'll want a profit

Shay Given has announced retirement from International Football

Believable6 Unbelievable2

Shame to go out like he did at euros. Hope we get a trophy by end of the season to soften this blow for him.

If this is a villa rumour page then why did people disagree with the last comment??

Dunne and warnock out 6 mil Cresswell and kaboul in 8mil
And there will be some movement up front kanote,k jones or n bendtner

Believable2 Unbelievable7

Hope Hutton follows

Agree4 Disagree0

What is the point of this site, when people post this kind of rubbish. Kanute recently signed for a Chinese club, bendtner is s***e (30 goals in 127 games, most of which were in a top 4 club who create loads more chances than villa), based on signings so far there is no way PL will pay 6m for an unproven LB, and absolutely unthinkable he will spend 8m on an average rb/cb. {Ed001's Note - instead of throwing your toys out your pram, you might want to ask if he meant Konate?}

Agree3 Disagree1

Cheers ed i did mean konate (spelling on a mobile aint easy lol) and read the interveiw with bedtner he as recieved several offers and already turned down a few maybe 1 of them was us plus read the text again it is 8 mil for both cresswell and kaboul not 6 and 8 each.
both defenders are def possibles pl has already spoke about cresswell and kaboul is being offered to clubs after caulker, dawson and verongthon are the 1st choice

Agree2 Disagree0

Id defo take kaboul. Gd reliable defender who can play across back four and maybe in midfield.

Agree2 Disagree0

Kaboul not 1st choice at tottenham, what the hell are talking about, the bloke is 1 of the best in the league. Kaboul will be 1st name on the team sheet along side vertoghen, with dawson bench and as for caulker im sorry he's not good........ anyway pl doing a great job and im sure he will strengthen again within the next 2 weeks, 2 more defenders are a must, fb and cb if dunne goes. we all know we need another striker but nobody new about vlaar untill he turned up at villa park so just be patient fellow fans. p.s i would love to have kaboul but come on please be serious lol. 4th choice lol

Agree1 Disagree0

He is 4 th choice even gallas was selected before him last year

Agree0 Disagree1

You are clueless my friend, kaboul started 41 games last season and your telling me he's 4th choice lol. read up on the facts 1st pal.

MON considering a move for Warnock, with Warnock entering the last 12 months of his contract.
Lambert would prefer to sell the player for a fee believed to be 1.5m although to get Warnock's 45k a week off the wage bill Lambert is even willing to loan warnock to sunderland if there unwilling to buy.

Dunne and Hutton to Stoke for 5m

These sales will path the way for Cresswell, Farina and Naughton to come in

Believable5 Unbelievable5

Since when has MON ever been bothered about sky high wages and overpriced players? If he wants Warnock he'll pay the money

Villa are looking at C Adams from Liverpool but only want to pay 4m watch this space

Believable6 Unbelievable5

Adam would be just what Villa need to kick start their season

Agree4 Disagree4

Charlie Adam could be a reasonable buy for Villa. He distributes well and has a hard side to his game. Delph would learn a lot from playing with Adam by watching his passing. He already has his own hard side in his game.

Agree3 Disagree3

Where did u hear this?

Agree2 Disagree0

Adam doesn't fit the mould of PL. He's too lazy and not a team player

Agree4 Disagree2

Adam makes too many bad tackles, would spend most of his time serving suspensions. The EPL is all about PACE - which he lacks in abundance,I've seen snails turn quicker than him !

Warnock could be on his way out after being left out the squad with PL playing Stevens and Delph in his position the weekend

paul lambert is keen to get rid of stephen warnock aswell to completely change the defence southhampton favourites for the lb signature

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Warnock doesn't like living away from the north of England and Southampton is a long way from Lancashire.

Agree1 Disagree0

We should swap him for their left back, Luke Shaw, he's quite highly rated.

Agree2 Disagree0

Isnt shaw the £5m defender linked with chelsea? If do we have no chance

richard dunne is set to join stoe for 3m and join alan hutton who was released at the end of the season to go to stoke

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Alan Hutton hasn't been released, Wish he was but it's sadly not true! he's sadly going to just sit there and pick up his wage packet, until some other mug actually wants a hatchet man.

Agree2 Disagree1

Hutton wasn't released he was told to find another club he has 3 years left on his contract

Agree1 Disagree0

Alan hutton wasnt relesed he played for us againist burton

Agree2 Disagree0

Hutton was not released

Agree2 Disagree0

Yh we get it it he wernt released

Aston Villa defenders Richard Dunne and Alan Hutton could the subject of a £5million double bid from Premier League rivals Stoke.

Believable3 Unbelievable2

It is very interesting that Stoke are on the point of buying last years crap defence almost on block. Can Pullis see something that Lambert can't see following the abysmal performance of the entire defence last season? Apart from what has already happened, is there any hope of more signings to strengthen the squad beside K Jones? Are Villa going to be exchanging our weak points for there weak points?

Agree2 Disagree0

If PL thinks he can get the best outta jones thn so be it. Stick by PL u criticiser.

Agree0 Disagree1

Stoke only buy hatchet men and players that rely totally on their physique. Big hard men on a postage stamp of a pitch are hard to beat.

Agree1 Disagree0

Teams love to say Stoke are interested in all of their crap players...they are not.
Villa Park is about as attractive a destination to potential signings as a rubbish tip.
You can keep Hutton and Dunne with the rest of your squad. Have fun in the championship 2013/2014.
