Eljero Elia is apparently being offered to various prem clubs, Villa are in the mix along with the usual suspects Everton, Newcastle, Fulham.
He would be a top signing, jus what we need a pacy winger with bags of tricks and flair, a player to lift the villa faithful
He's the type of player we desperately need. Would be a great signing

Lambert will move for Lescott of Manchester City.
The villa supporting defender would welcome first team football in a good EPL team especially at his boyhood team.
Why would Lescott sign for Villa. Champions league to prem. struggle. Use your common sense!

Villa to sign peter whittingham from Cardiff.
I've heard this is nailed on...
Why would we sign him when he has been at villa before. it's like villa trying to sign downing again. {Ed015's Note - Looked at while Lambert was at Norwich.}
I don't want to see him but fear this low class signing is where we pitch our ambition
Whittingham is a very good player, Villa fans need to stop wanting to sign players who a) Are crap but have a great sounding Panini name or B) are already playing CL football
I don't particularly want Italian sounding names but wouldn't mind an African sounding Munpansmunda, at least they will have strength and pace rather than the powder puff sounding Whttingham
