Villa are close to agreeing deals to sign Jed Steer from Norwich, Jores Okore & Nicklas Helenius. It is also understood Villa are looking at signing another winger which is believed still to be Younes Belhanda.

I take it the Cresswell transfer is not going to happen then?
Other Premier clubs now chasing his services apparantly.

Agree6 Disagree4

Honestly never heard of Jed Steer but if he's highly rated I doubt Norwich will sell him to Lambert

Agree9 Disagree3

Just adding a bit more meat to the bones of what I first posted here - we've had a £4m bid accepted for Okore.

Agree9 Disagree1

Rumour has it Mike Ashley wants Darren Bent. I'm hearing that Papiss Cisse could be offered in exchange - which to me would be folly as we don't need another striker, especially one which will add nothing we don't already have/getting.

Agree5 Disagree9

I have it on a very reliable source that pipis cisse wants to leave england fullstop, so can't see this happening.

However bent to newcastle/fulham/stoke will happen.

Agree7 Disagree0

Maybe not Cisse but Cabaye would do nicely ;)

Agree2 Disagree4

Leandro Bacuna is the next one i'd like to add to the list of players we shall sign. Okore is flying in for a medical today & will also have to complete a full medical before having his move completed.
Bacuna is a dutch 21 year old winger.

Deal nearly completed for Danish striker nicklas helenius, rising star from aalborgs has been attracting attention from a host of top European clubs but villa have stole his signature with the attraction of Paul lambert giving youth a chance.

Helenius is known as a bulky tall striker with a lot of ability with his feet. Will be interesting to see him line up with Benteke or have Helenius/Benteke on the bench as another option with Gabby & Weimann also on!

Agree10 Disagree1

6'5'' bean pole, who plays like Peter Crouch when he arrived at AVFC, check Helenius out on Youtube.

Agree3 Disagree8

Unusual style of play, hopefully he can head the ball as well!

Agree8 Disagree0

Looks like he plays a lot better than Peter Crouch mate but maybe that's because he's playing in a much lower league. He seems to be a great talent regardless

Agree10 Disagree0

Never seen this Helenious play a full 90mins but you only have to watch
2 mins of him on YouTube to see that the only comparison to Crouch is their similar in height. Irony is all the highlights of seen of him since yesterday, I havnt seen him score a header and considering his size, that's a surprise.

Helenious looks quick, sharp turning with the ball, has fantastic quick feet and has a powerfull shot on him.

Could be another Gem.

Agree11 Disagree0

Helenious reminds me of john Carew when he was between 23-26, quick ish strong, can run with the ball, eye for goal and looks a handful when he attacks the ball in the air

Agree7 Disagree3

Helenius is known as the young & rising Ibrahimovic - seems like a £5m deal this is, will be an absolute steal like with Benteke!

Agree5 Disagree2

Hoping he's a hell of a lot better than crouch was here. didint play well for us with a poultry goal return of 6 in 30 odd games (awful!). so hoping helenius will be waaaaaay more effective for us.

Agree7 Disagree0

Poultry goal return? Don't bring chickens into it, that would be a fowl thing to do

Agree5 Disagree0

Stop with the clucking puns please. Helenius would be an eggcelent signing

Agree3 Disagree0

Looks great just saw him on YouTube but remember boskow ballaban.
I can't spel

Agree2 Disagree0

Does that mean we are poaching Helenius?

Agree3 Disagree0

Atleast we're only paying a
million quid ish on helenius instead of the crazy £6m that we spent on balaban

Agree1 Disagree0

Plenty of goalmouth scrambles ahead then

Agree1 Disagree0

Aston Villa can confirm that the Club are in negotiations with Aalborg BK for the transfer of Danish forward Nicklas Helenius.

Believable9 Unbelievable1

This kid looks quality yeah its a big step up but so was benteke from Belgium league but if we can get benteke to sign and then buy Jesus, back up right back, jores okore, cresswell, murphy, belhanda and helenius we will be quality next year. and if this can all happen b4 the 7th July b4 pre season even better

Agree6 Disagree0

When u say we should sign jesus do u mean carlos cuellar? lol

Agree3 Disagree3

No he means Jesus Fernandez the Real Madrid 3rd/4th keeper.
